As soon as this next round ends at http://btcdig.com/ I'll have some BTC to play with.

Awesome! Thanks ZFF!

I used to mine at btcdig but it would take like 30 days to find a block so I switched to http://btcguild.com much much faster...like 5 or more blocks found per-day. I think they are the #1 BTC pool

Well guys, I just talked with a guy about making the BTQ Android wallet and it looks like we might have one by the end of the weekend if everything goes right!!!! :-D It's just gonna cost me 0.6 BTC (~$225 USD)

Shouldn't you be saying it's going to cost us?  I'm up to donate a 0.0005 BTC or two.

Maybe set up a BTQ donation address for wallet development and try to get some support from the community?  All the BTQ donated gets sold on X date and the proceeds go towards the wallet creation?  In some way bitquark pays for bitquark development?

That's a good idea Danny! If you would like to donate BTC to BitQuark development, you can send donations to this BTC address 1BBAM2sDa8sVP65zvWr46wjwh9ivqsu25C

This will help pay for the development of the BTQ Android wallet.

Is that a bitcoin address or bitquark address?

Also, do you accept paypal?

I convert digital currencies I receive straight away.  I'd be willing to contribute part of it but I don't have dependable bitcoin or bitquark.

I've downloaded the android wallet source and have changed the internal info to match BTQ, but I can't get it to compile :-(

Just got an email from an android developer and he just added support for C-Cex exchange on his app. BTQ pricing is now available in the Litecoin Widget for android version 62 located here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.phauna.litecoinwidget

Can anyone do anything with this?

One of my local friends is working on a simple app to check digital currency prices and has promised to add a BTQ price chart as well, still we need to eventually get a full blown mobile bitquark wallet though.

There are about 5 of us bitquark supporters in South Florida that I know of.  A friend of mine and I will occasionally trade bitquarks for stuff, just to play around and boost the network transactions and I've already mentioned my wife now charges me bitquarks for "services".  I think I may have to start charging her bitquarks everytime she requests a foot massage.

I've added pool information such as URL, # Workers, Hashrate, Price, time since last Block, and Efficiency of BTQ pools to the Pools page
 http://bitquark.info/pools.php
This way you can see all the above info and know how many people are mining as said pool and the pools hashrate.

I know it's about 6 months away, but if the 1,000,000th block is found at http://pool.bitquark.info I will give the finder of the block 10,000 BTQ. I know we don't know what the value of BTQ will be in 6 months, but even if the price reach about $1 I will still award the finder 10,000 BTQ!!! So keep on mining and promoting BTQ guys and girls!!!

EDIT: Also if for some reason I'm the one who finds the block, then I will disburse the 10,000 BTQ among the pool works at that time.

I switch between pool.bitquark.info and bitquark.suprnova.cc

Yea Danny that's always a good idea to have a fail-over setup on your miner in case something like this happens.

Sorry for the delay guys. I was planning on going home at lunch time to get the server back up and going, I ended up having to go out on a service call and I'm just getting home. Pool is back up and going now! Once again, sorry for the delay.

FYI, bitquark is about to overtake quarkbar on swisscex.com voting.  Still have a ways to go though.
