If you do not want to earn BYC, you can buy BYC.

Over 52,000 buys in BYC! Shocked https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BYC

I bet a whale is trying to accumulate a ton of BYC cheap before the new Bytecent exchange goes live.

All I want is a new CLEAN page for just to live!
Why only Windows? I want a FreeBSD or Linux version, can you release? or there any source? i can compile it.

The public Linux and Mac version will be available when we release version 1.2.1.1.

And there much people use FreeBSD, may you think to make for this. in Linux version, have command-line or GUI?

Seems not so many people are active here, Smiley

That's because the BYC revolution wasn't ever intended for 'here'.

It's for real people, not the fudders & wannabe-wolf-of-wall-street types who care nowt about a coin except how much they can make off it today.

Took a lot of effort from a lot of people to persuade Chris to even allow a thread here at all.

Here's the latest news-

At the official CoinBlab forum, a quick follow up answer to JJs question was posted.  We found a bug and a release date will be announced once the bug is fixed.

By my watch it's now been 65 hours, and not one word about 'the announcement about the release date' so far.

This is somewhat disappointing in light of the high standards the management team of BYC have previously set.

(English understatement is an art form which should be used much more in the cryptosphere, rather than the usual angry, uninformed & somewhat illiterate rants often read on this, and other fora Wink )

As a medium bagholder, and pre-launch supporter, of BYC I feel that a better & more timely information-flow would go a long way towards placating the justifiable concerns of similarly-placed investors.

As Chris well knows, I am a patient, discrete & committed believer in the goals of this ground-breaking coin, so I hope my concerns are heard & understood.

We are completing the final tests of the new Bytecent wallet. We added numerous features and fixed a few bugs. Within 48 hours, I will announce the official release date of the new wallet. Here is what you can expect in version 1.3.

1. Removed the quick launch app. Everything is integrated into one app.

2. Added in wallet menu links to relevant Bytecent services.

3. Added mining to the POM BYC address.

4. Added new security feature to prevent unofficial miners.

5. Significantly reduced the PPS limit.

6. Reduced confirmations from 6 to 3. Transactions are fully confirmed in half the time.

7. Tweaked the difficulty to adjust more quickly.

8. Fixed the POM bug when a user has more than 1900 coins.

In addition to the above, we will also be releasing the Mac and Linux wallets.

Stay tuned for more info on the release date, and anything you need to do to prepare of the update.

Blockchain and stuff
hey gang!

I am working on the last few things for the new pool software, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions. It can be anything, even if it is not 100% pool related.  Let me know in the next 12 hours or so, and ill add your suggestions if its feasible.
