Hi  Smiley

Does anyone have some good settings they can share for the 7950 video card, for CGMiner. I'm using getting 576kh/s but I read that my card should be getting a lot more

If I set my intensity to high it crashes right away  Huh

Try this:

Code:
-I 19 --thread-concurrency 24000 --gpu-powertune 20

From:

https://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

That should get you around ~ 670 kh/s make sure your GPU fans are at 85% at least or else you will burn out the GPU over time & watch the temps Don't go over 80C they can go higher but you want your card to last right  Wink

thanks for the article on pool set up Sm0k3WeeDEveryD@Y.

I haven't set up a pool before but I could help given access to a server.

I just don't have the bandwidth / hardware to do it -- I do, however, have programming and database experience (it's my job).

I may be down to fuck around with it if you are? whats ur OS of choice? we could share fee's

Yeah, I don't mind trying it out assuming you'll let me have access to the server. I've got some consulting work I've got to do, but I should have some time to work on this. I'll have to look up some tutorials also but I believe most (if not all) pools are running under linux -- so I'm thinking Ubuntu is preferred.

I have some tools but not enough knowledge. If someone wants to contact me and utilize my machine and network for a pool to help get things going I do not mind. I can set up an OS of your choice as well as SSH or something similar. I posted server stats on the last page. Other than that someone might be silently working on one, not too sure.

Hey is everystill still on block 6668 I just wanna make sure everythings working right on my end my ISP is pretty lame

Yes that's correct seems like there's no more problems. The issues were most likely from the sudden dramatic increase in network hash rate.

How much is it for a pool

If you rent a machine, it all depends on how many cores, and the disk space.

I know a couple of users who set up pools, they rent the rigs from Digital Ocean.  For little money you can get the bandwidth and the horsepower you need.
