not your keys, not your coins!
you won't believe it, I used ChipMixer)

You're right, I don't believe it because chipmixer is not an exchange.  Let me rephrase my question; where did you get that screenshot?
Might be a block explorer? They sometimes have basic 'blockchain analysis' built-in that shows who is the owner of some address and similar. Since it talks about risk, it does seem like some sort of site where the user deposited money. Could be an exchange, could just as well be a poker or gambling site.

Looks like it's time to switch to a different exchange, or use P2P exchanges instead.  Exchanges that contract with chain analysis companies are not looking out for your best interest, and behave as though they hate bitcoin's fungibility.

Just out of curiosity, which exchange are you using?

I used to have a good risk score when using the exchanger, but now it is 100%, and marked ChipMixer.

Unbelivable, post your wallet I'll send you $150 for a coffer/beer/etc
Chips are the best, I'm noob. SOrry chips! Will learn how to sweep addresses and stop blaming others for my faults.

PiSLIFE, can you clarify what went wrong with your chips import? As I understand it, you imported keys into Electrum and found empty legacy addresses. Is that right? I'm curious to know why you didn't re-read the instructions and try again before assuming that ChipMixer was at fault and creating a forum profile to complain. Also, it might have been more productive to first try to resolve the issue with their support.

I hope you realize how fortunate you were that LoyceV was able to sweep the private keys so quickly and that he is likely one of the few honest individuals in this community.

I don't know what wallet you were using, but those chips were FUNDED! To prevent anyone else from taking them, I tried to sweep the addresses.
Thank you LoyceV for sweeping private keys so fast! It's great that no money has been lost. Also your guess about "p2wpkh:" is correct.

My guess: if you import the private keys without "p2wpkh:" in front, it shows the legacy addresses that belong to those private keys. For the record: I used Electrum to import them too.

And the lying mf beach chips or fuck stole it. Beware of this lying douchebag.
Or you are not being very smart and didn't follow the instructions and used correct address for sending coins.
First thing, you should never post your restore link in public like this with session token, but I guess you know everything and it doesn't matter to you so much because you are smartass... Roll Eyes
Make sure that you transaction is confirmed because I see deposit address on that link and it is showing no transactions, so check if you used correct fees before making accusations, and wait for Chipmixer team to reply.
Not to mention that you posted your private keys in public...

I know it's not very convenient when a newbie registers in a forum and start some holywar about an old member. THat looks bad, really does. But I have the prove the chips doesn't work well, and I consider my $1k the payment to tell the truth about these guys. WIth 1K I can buy a nice whore, a dinner in a restaurant with a not-so-whore and have the same result, or just buy some nice stuff. Now I'm sitting in front of my computer and spreading hate in some forum. Not the best time to spend! It’s some psycology thing, when someone acts not fairly with you and you spend 10x the resources to punish the aggressor. That’s why I’m here, and that’s why I’’m writing this. If they will change my mind (surely not) I’ll apologize. But it’s not happening AFAIK.

I don't know what wallet you were using, but those chips were FUNDED! To prevent anyone else from taking them, I tried to sweep the addresses. I didn't dare bump this topic before my transaction got confirmed (and fees went up quicker than I expected). Now that it's confirmed: I have your funds. I did CPFP with a much higher fee (which took me a while as I had to export/import the privkey first), but seconds after I broadcasted it, the first transaction got confirmed.

If you can post a Bitcoin address here, I'd like to send you back your money (minus on-chain transaction fees). But PLEASE, make sure you know what you're doing! You should not have posted your private keys here!

Feel free to apologize for accusing ChipMixer of scamming you Wink

It's not the first time. One year ago it was a small amount $300 or something.
Do you still have those private keys? I'm guessing the funds are still there. Any chance you used a wallet that doesn't support Segwit?

Look pal, I don't care about the mf $300 or mf $1k. I just want other ppl to be aware what shit is happening here. It's surely not a HUUUGE amount, but it's a disturbing situation, like a mosquito who is biting two times in consecutive. Yes it's a bit of too much info, but it proves I'm not a fake and I'm not just wasting readers' time with some irrational forum spam. There is plenty of mixers around, but chips was one of the oldest, and it supposed to be reliable. That's why I'm wasting my time writing this shit and your time reading this shit. Thank you for reading.to
What can they write me? the money is gone without my consent.

TryNinja
1) no I didn't spend them myself, I used the mixer a few times and this shit  never happened one time only
2) no, I use a dedicated notebook for financial matters, clean windows and never opened web pages, emails and etc

SCAM!
Chipmix sneaky mf stole my fucking 1k USD.  I mixed the coins, received the chips, then all gone. ALL FUCKING GONE!!!! [...]
Ready to show the proofs to anyone intersted.
Serious question, how does one prove that ChipMixer stole your chips and not that:

a) You spent them yourself.
b) Your device is infected, and thus someone else stole your chips.

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
When did you write to them? They can take a few days to respond sometimes.

$1k isn't a lot to consider risky though with an established mixer like this one that's been running for years. They've had huge amounts flow through that have been withdrawn without issue (except traceability).

What happened to your first $300, if that was stolen why didn't you put less through it (at least to eliminate the chance it's your computer/malware that's to blame).

Also you might've posted too much information above for chipmixer to be able to help you and verify it's you (ie someone else can now use the information stated above to impersonate you).

It's not the first time. One year ago it was a small amount $300 or something. So I didn't give a shit. But now it's fucking insane how chips or fuck just steal the money from the chips. Totally ruined the service!

Use ANY other mixing service because this is the only one who STEALS money from the clients.

**In BTC since 2013**
If I remember correctly, those transactions are swept once a day. You can of course still download the private key yourself if it takes too long.

That's really what happened. More or less 22-24 hours later the transaction was confirmed.
Thank you for the explanation.

How long does it usually take to complete the transaction?
