I have been monitoring the wallet of the fake chipmixer sites (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1AieZeCtxzQESkfAByDHj83SwSkxt1XwsD) and see that more and more people get scammed.

That is really sad to see Sad

How can you tell the difference between the fake and real chipmixer wallet?

Report[1] the fake website if you haven't already. =/
Already done that but the phishing site is still listed in the first three results

For anyone else, please also report this issue: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en

Unfortunately, phishing usually pays off for the scammers. Report[1] the fake website if you haven't already. =/

And spread the word. Re-checking which URL you are into should be an habit.

just use those private keys.
I'm not sure what you're asking. Did your funds not arrive when depositing, or did your withdrawal not work?
If it's the lattter, and you have the private keys, you can indeed just import them into a wallet and make a transaction.

Thank you for your reply. The withdrawal took longer than I expected.

I just received support email, all problems are solved and I received my withdrawal. I will use private keys in the future.

Hello! May I ask that if I withdrawn those chips with given addresses, can private keys still be used? Besides, how long will the recipient receive payment?

I sent some BTC to chipmixer around 30 hours ago over Tor,  but haven't received when I post this. I sent email but there is no response. I'm a little worried about it.

They can take up to 4 days to respond to support but normally respond within two.

Can you share the transaction ID of the outgoing transaction?
The key can still be used until the funds are confirmed out of that address...

Thank you for your information. The txid is 59c980976cc9788db36b5c983c4fe65a0399f3b7be2d41c18a450ca201216abd.

I used Chipmixer several times before, it was excellent and the payments were all received within 24 hours. But this mix is far later than usual.

Besides, this is the only mix through Tor, and I double-checked the onion url.

Maybe I should wait another day or two for the payment or support, then just use those private keys.

Can someone tell me why transactions out of this wallet comes with more weird and same looking transactions, does it means bitcoins transfered somewhere to exchange or something like that?

~snip~

Why all the transactios go to different wallets with same BTC amounts at the end?
It looks like the scammer used the real ChipMixer to mix his coins. That's ironic for someone who runs a phishing site.

Different browser, incognito mode - chipmixer.me is also the first result I get. That's not good, there are probably a lot more victims who won't even bother to post anywhere. Hopefully namecheap suspends their domain (email [email protected]).
Also report it to Google so they can mark it as a phishing website and probably remove it from their ad results: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en

I am very upset and completely destroyed with the situation as it was all of my savings for the moment and i do not know how to get funds back or get any help Sad
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you. =/

You should always double check the URL and research to see if its legit. Google can't be trusted. Anyone can put whatever website they want at the top of the results (ads) by paying them a few dollars (and sometimes not even that, since they have free ad vouchers).

Sorry for your loss. Sad

Thank for the reply. At least i cant find Chipmixer.me on any topic as a scam/clone site. So someone should take care of that.

Also i found a view sites that provided this link as legit clearnet link to mixer Sad so they prepared for this attack.

Do cloudflare support onion routing?

If not then this isn't possible as they like to do the proof you're a human and the hashcash browser checking so they need to own the certificate.

Onion routing is the ability to encrypt data and send the encrypted data through another host to add a layer of encryption and mean the server in the middle (cloudflare) can add what it needs to (hashcash and captcha) to moderate the connection.

AFAIK, if content is served over HTTPS, CDN has no way to intercept that data.
I'm no expert, but t his is what theymos wrote (and there are more interesting posts in that topic):
What I meant is that Cloudflare can see your unencrypted password when you log in. It's still encrypted from the real server to Cloudflare and from Cloudflare to you. So it's not blatantly insecure except in that Cloudflare is very probably an NSA honeypot
Theymos said it because BitcoinTalk is using SSL certificate issued by CloudFlare. But, what I am suggesting here is that, CloudFlare or some other CDN to be used to mitigate DDOS, not for SSL certificate. If SSL certificate is obtained from some other issuer, then traffic is encrypted from host to browser and vice-versa. In that case, does CloudFlare have any way to read the data?

Moreover, as it seems from public record, ChipMixer is hosted either on 45.76.91.219 or some IP behind it. How difficult is it for a government to grab the hosting provider and enforce logging of all data in the background?

Is chipmixer down ? Been trying to access it all day
The clearnet version is down here, but the TOR one is working. Unfortunately, it seems like ChipMixer is the most targeted mixer when we talk about DDoS attacks.
