Is using Chipmixer free? I mean zero fees?
Yes. They work based on donations. If you want, you can use them and pay absolutely 0 BTC in fees.

Keep in mind that for this to happen, you must send the exact value of one of their chips, otherwise, the difference will basically serve as a donation.

Cool! So as far as I send value which could be equally divisible in chips, the service is free?

Is it like:

if (bitcoin I want to mix % chip value === 0)
    the service is free
else
the difference is treated as donation

Hello,

I'm still missing my 0.178 BTC from this mixer.

See the report here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53576764

I hope it can be solved soon.

This issue has been solved successfully! Thanks a lot to the ChipMixer Team! I really appreciate the way you solved this!

So, you made a mistake, accused them of being scam and they gave you 0.178 for free?

I must try this.
If you can't read and understand english, then take some courses first sorry.

Banking on the good faith of companies.... pfff.

I doubt OP tried to scheme chipmixer here.

Or... he pulled off a really eleborate scam, which i kind of doubt looking @ the other thread..

But really, i don't think anyone would do this intentionally. The chances of any mixer giving the funds back after a mistake by the user; (destroying their session?) are very slim (as they should be). Sure; people might try to abuse it now; but i think that'll be kind of obvious.

Quote from chipmixer from the other thread:
Quote from:  Chipmixer
After investigation we have discovered that session awarded with chips was started 5 hours after deposit transaction. While destroying session ends our contract responsibility and funds were already used by other (lucky) user - we award you full value voucher for 178 mBTC.
I assume this means the funds have been redeemed by someone who had access to the session that was "destroyed" ?

If so; I assume the user in question was purely refunded out of good will, and not because there were any irregularities @ Chipmixer's side of operations? That's kind of unnecessary generous, especially if/when we don't know for certain the user didn't claim the funds himself. (Do we know that? i guess i don't.)
ChipMixer managed this in a very professional manner.

Yes this is exactly what happened here.

lol, my original post got deleted. weak boys, very very weak.  Grin

If you want to engage in speculation like that or discuss the idea of honeypots in general, just open a new thread in Service Discussion as opposed to trolling the ANN thread.

did the GOV not taken down the mixer? oh wait, it is driven by the GOV.
Are you back again trashing Chipmixer?

While i'm all for having a sensible discussion of why, and primarily what the implications would be if Chipmixer was actually ran by a government agency, this is not the place to do so.

If you have any proof, feel free to open a thread about it, otherwise don't pollute this thread.

Also note:  they're thinking about implenting blinded bearer signatures, which would make Chipmixer "privacy-probable". Now ask yourself; would a government agency be interested in doing so?
I doubt it, unless they're using the funds/profit from Chipmixer as a source for clandestine operations Tongue /s.

Did you keep hold of your token? Have you tried restoring a session? How far did you get with everything, have you gone through every step? 1-4

this mixer is scam?
have not received my bitcoins after many hours. Support not answering.

Far to be a scam after all this time and it has no reason.
The support doesn't reply within minutes, there isn't someone sitting on a chair all day waiting for a customer message. Give it at least 1 or 2 days

well its not normal that it takes hours for a mixing to be done....

Probably a glitch, it can happen. Wait for an answer from them but nothing to be worried  Tongue

Tor link remains accessible for me? Is your circuit not being found or is it an issue connecting to the site? Try configuring bridges if you want to go via tor.

@Atobmixer

If you thought their remarks were unfair, you would have been able to answer them calmly with valid arguments to prove them wrong. This is the recommended attitude for leaders and web marketers: to accept disagreement and to not take it personally.
I remember that you didn't see a problem last week when @Tryninja made a remark to you to improve your service, and you even agreed with his point. Criticism is always good for improvement.

If you consider us as "Chipmixer agents" as you said in some posts you can also say we're pretty bad so. Because you can read many posts helping/suggesting/supporting other mixers over the 2-3 years. I can also tell you that many of us are regular users of such services so it's natural to see us talking about mixers (good or bad)

In a post (which you deleted this morning) you claimed that chipmixer should give money for the damage to your reputation.
I don"t want to look arrogant but wich reputation? Your site is young and has none yet. I could follow your logic and say that you owe money to @Adolph and @tryninja because their reputation is tarnished because of you.
Send 5BTC to each of them Cheesy +1BTC because it's Christmas. You see, this can be a never-ending story.

I know what you're up to and I can tell you that it won't work, you'll be wasting time, resources, and money. You'd better use all that to improve your service? You have surely better to do?
I could do the same, it will take me a little effort and it would be a very easy thing for me. Your domain name is very young and ORM isn't a problem for me. But I won't because I'm not an asshole. Again, this can be a never-ending story.

Merry Christmas to everyone

We been tested and proven legit :

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2023-bitcoin-5129376

We respond badly to negativity and we are on Chipmixer sanction on google search , this is the response to chipmixer's marketing agent's unjust remarks. We will personally contact all other mixers owners as a join force sanction on chipmixer and we will play with SEO. Lets play

You do realize that the list is a translated version of the English list that was created by someone in ChipMixer's signature campaign, right? It also doesn't indicate that it was tested and proven, just that LeGaulois (and the community) believes that it's not a scam (yet, anyway). It doesn't mean you have good practices or have been tested.

we have collaborated with 37 websites "Top 10 mixers" ranked on google search and we  have ommited chipmixer from the list as they practice unmoral advertising strategies . The signature campaign AdolfinWolf and TryNinja just goes around making unjust remarks on other mixers without actually testing the services is a very bias marketing strategy thats tarnishes the good image of ChipMixer

On the contrary, you will find that the ChipMixer campaign is the most respected on the forum because of the quality of its participants and their posts. Check out how many merits their posts have earned and then compare it to any other campaign.

Therefore the can just go claiming on every other services is a scam ?

How can you tell the difference between the fake and real chipmixer wallet?
Someone already reported the address as being owned by the fake ChipMixer website. That's how he know it:

Hello guys.

I want to warn you about new scam page running out there Sad  i am kinda new to this bitcoin tumbling stuff so don't laugh about the mistake i made.

The main site chipmixer.com is down for so long time so i Googled for "chipmixer and it returned chipmixer. me -  so i know it's my fault that i clicked on it and i didn't figure out it has some old version of site.

I sent 1.5 bitcoins to these session and wallet they provide:

YIMGNSNOOgCoE3CC3j3loccKJGTvU14W

And for sure i get nothing in return.
