CodeX is the first Intelligent Decentalized Crypto Currency highlighting the cutting edge developments in crypto currency, artificial intelligence and Digital Finance. The system works by collecting data from supported Blockchains, aggregating it, performing analysis, forecasting and finally performing self regulatory and correctional actions while also providing recommendations for users. The intelligent system discards traditional hard coding in favor of a flexible, realistic system. An Intelligent Blockchain's events and policy's are more reliant on chain activity and outside feeds that on rigid rules that cannot be influenced , specifically the global crypto economic climate can be reflected in the CodeX environment.

Asset Classes

Blockchain Asset Classes are separate types of stakeable tokens with unique properties and behavior within the ecosystem.... Primary classes are Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Normal. In the initial release, only Gold, Silver and Normal tokens will be available on the chain. With future updates, assets classes will be added depending on usage and lower ranked assets will be convertible to higher classes. The Codex Proof of Stake X allocates different stake rates to each asset class, with the more valuable assets having higher rates. Normal tokens have a lower base multiplier  with the highest multiplier being for diamond class assets. An assets' blockchain transactional value is 1:1 with any other asset, their inherent properties only become apparent when used for staking or other CodeX specific uses.  Future feature updates may add new properties that will reflect in transactions, such as priority of coin types in getting confirmed, and differing fee structures.

Proof of stake rate is calculated as base reward * multiplier. You can only stake one type of asset per block, you cannot stake asset X and get asset Y   conversion of assets will be able in future via special conversion transactions. The Codex Intelligent Blockchain allows each asset class to represent only a limited percentage of the overall money supply, this prevents all users from simply converting to a higher asset class arbitrarily. Additionally each asset class has a stake threshold, this means that you need a certain minimum balance to stake each type of asset. This prevents micro-staking and spamming the blockchain.

Development

CodeX Intelligent kernel has been in development for over three months and will see it's first release. The kernel is the brains of the system and performs all the computations and decision making. Development is an ongoing process and hence improvements will always be made available to users. CodeX source will be made available for review on the public git, while testing and development sources will remain closed source until official updates are released. To incentivize other developers and users alike to report and potentially resolve bugs , bounties are offered for each different kind of bug reported and/or fixed. See more in the bounties section. Multi-Wallet


The Codex Multi-Wallet is a single client app capable of accessing and operating on multiple different block chains. The Multi-Wallet Client is designed to be a flexible , versatile solution for crypto portfolio management. Today's world has many crypto-currencies in circulation, most of which require a user to handle and manage multiple different software, all of which use basically the same code. This cumbersome situation is exacerbated by the sheer number of available currencies, so users have begun relying on the unsafe and insecure practices of leaving their coins on exchanges, using web-wallets or other services which make their holdings vulnerable to theft and/or loss. CodeX multi-wallet returns control of users funds, back to the users themselves by allowing them to use a single app to manage multiple coins and have full control of their coins. You own your private keys, you own your coins and you secure them. No Mt Gox nightmares , as you don't rely on third parties to secure your precious portfolio.

All CodeX wallets have an automatic backup feature , ensuring that in the event of a disaster , you have multiple back-ups from which you can restore your wallet. Further , an incremental update will enable 2FA for all wallet related functions, both in the GUI and the command-line to ensure extra security for users. Coins switching is as simple as clicking/tapping the switcher icon to match the logo of the coin you wish to use, the GUI automatically updates to match. To prevent mistakenly trying to use coin X in wallet Y , the GUI changes color scheme to show which coin is active. Below are some screenshots.








Supported Chains

At initial launch, the Multi-Wallet only supports three Blockchains, namely Bitcoin, Litecoin and CodeX. Bitcoin is a Sha-256 coin, Litecoin uses the Scrypt hash algorithm and CodeX uses Proof Of Stake, these were chosen specifically to demonstrate the versatility of the software and the ability to add even more coins to the client. A Dash port is half done and may be completed in future. ANY Bitcoin based coin that uses standard wallets and blocks can be added to the client. Since some users may not wish to host so many coins, or wish only for specific ones , a simple configuration guide will be provided.

Simple Payment Verification

To ensure users need not face the problem of syncing BTC/LTC blockchains and their massive data storage and bandwidth requirements, A rudimentary SPV mode has been in development and testing. Thie Simple Payment Verification mode enables users to just sync the headers and only ever processes blocks that contain a users' transactions. This "lite" mode will be super useful as it allow the clients to handle far more coins that while running full nodes for every coin.

Coin Requests

Users can submit coin requests  for coins they wish to see added to the multi wallet. The basic requirements are that it should have a functional healthy blockchain, and an active developer, with as limited a number of hard forks as possible. For a coin to be reviewed, a user must submit a name, link to the thread/website and a link to the source code, if it is accepted, the user(s) interested in seeing this coin as part of the multi-wallet must submit the 5 BTC and 5000 CodeX fee and work will begin immediately. While there is no real limit to the chains that will be added, strong opposition from existing coins in the wallet may result in requests being denied.

Crowd Fund

Distribution of the initial tokens will be via crowd funding mechanism in the wallet. 250K Gold , 1 M Silver  and 4 M Normal tokens will be issued in the crowdfund. Sale of tokens will be of the 4 M normal tokens. Once the 4 M tokens are allocated, the 1 M silver and 250K gold will be issued to participants as bonus for their participation. Funds raised will be used for development and maintenance of various aspects of the  CodeX system. This includes a developer and bug tracking/resolution incentive for users and developers alike, improvement in software stability, better wallet management, merged portfolio manager development , funding development of an internal asset and coin exchange, development of a functional AI network and many others. Details on escrow will be made available soon. Price per token is 0.00005 BTC.



Projects

Current projects include the above mentioned goals, complete SPV (maybe even SPV staking) ,  more fluid and intuitive switching and management of multiple wallets and integration of a trading platform interface for centralized exchanges. More details on these can be provided upon request in the slack channel. There is ongoing research into a truly decentralized exchange that can compete with existing centralized exchanges, a feasibility report will be submitted either in the form of code or a simple Nope  

Other projects on the developer wish list include a server/client torrent integration that will allow users to get paid for hosting parts of files or whole files, development of a true, cross blockchain communication protocol and integration of gaming tokens (trade your game rewards for coins on the chain). It is part of the development and marketing  strategy to take up feasible promises made by other projects that never delivered and make them a reality in the CodeX ecosystem as a way to garner more users interest and increase utility of the underlying token.
