This is exactly why Codex is making it's platform, so that Art and Collectables are fully tracked. It will rely on experts when pieces are added to the platform to judge authenticity, these experts include auction houses specialists, dealers, gallerists and appraisers. They will be paid for their efforts through commisons or fees.

It's an interesting point. Maybe Codex needs specialists who will check item prices? It would be fair protection from fraud .
