Anyone know how to help speed up transactions.
My wallet is upto date and has synced (although that took some time)
I've transfered some coins about 2 hours ago and not 1 confirmation yet.
I was looking to start mining it to help speed things up but as it's POW is that still possible?
Do you have to do anything with your client to allow it to help process transactions or does it do it automatically when open?

5 days have no COLs from Cryptsy. No info 'bout transaction in console.... Check somebody plz that TrxID:

Any other devs willing to take over COL...? It's not even being bought in coinedup.
I have read through some of the forms and have a few questions, which i will try and sum up in point form.
- So basically ADT and COL both do not have any active dev's? Where ADT has two people helping, but are not dev's while COL has no
one?
- Wallets not syncing? (My COL wallet appears to have synced up, but i have my coins on cryptsy so i may send a few 100 to see if they transfer)
- No POW left, so it is relying purely on POS
- POS is basically mining for interest on your coins? (is that right) but there is not enough people doing POS to keep the network "hash" high enough? Not sure if that is even close to being right as i never did get the whole POS concept of its functionality lol.

jag is still around but i mainly look after ADT ( jag is ment to be the dev )
POS is intrest on your coins the best bet is look on wikapida as it has far more info that i can put on this post
both coins have the same issue once i have got ADT fixed i will see what i can do about getting COL fixed
if someone can get the comunaty together to decide what they want i will take a look and see what i can do to help

Three things needed to boost COL:
- Publicity and public awareness of COL's potential.
- Better presentation (websites, forums, logo design, etc.) as to not look like another alt coin hack job and present the show of professional confidence.
- Accesibility. People trade with things that are convinient, therefore we desperately need BTC/COL on a popular exchange!
Colossus coin needs more publicity. FAR more publicity. Dogecoin has proved that with enough publicity and public excitement, greed and anticipation of increase does wonders in propelling even a mediocre joke coin into prominence. In other words, a joke imbued with enough sense of anticipation, participation, and effot, can actually turn into something significant. If dogecoin can do it, something more real such as COL definitely can.
Go to social networking sites. Go to twitter. Go to blogs, media, news networks. Go to reddit. Go to 4chan. Go anywhere to make it known that COL exists and is a good opportunity for the following reasons:
Emphasize the fact that COL is vastly undervalued compared to its nominal price. Present low values will make it a much more affordable venture for many people who are not willing to risk more than few hundred dollars at most on crypto. Attract those who are not willing to spend too much with the correct analysis that COL's values have much greater room for increase than others.
Emphasize that it has 550 billion coin supply compared to BTC's 21 million. People and public are far more likely to feel attracted towards something they can own in whole number values than in decimals. This is surprisingly powerful motive. Buying and owning 100s of something is inherintly more satisfying by instinct than owning 0.002595802 of something.
Emphasize that crypto has gone through numerous trials, and survived.
Above all, be confident and spread the word. Even those without any realistic grounds for validity can become a significant force if the anticipation and human impulse drives demand and goals. From that relative point of view, we can confidently say COL has greater future than any empty day dreams or anticipations of greed.
With publicity and clear statement of real potential possibilities, COL will definitely rise. If dogecoin can do it, COL can.
Three factors listed above are applicable to any crypto, but COL has the potential to make most of them if dev teams help out on this.

Nice, always good to see btc trading pairs, should help pump up its ltc value on cryptsy one would think
I am receiving a lot of requests to take on this coin and to help fix it if the comunaty can work out what they want to happen as soon as I have ADT back on track I will consider taking on COL

Someone should definitely salvage this coin. Look at all the new cryptos going straight to BTC exchange platforms. Hell, coinedup.com is set to have it trade for BTC. With Cryptsy having it go for .00000010 LTC, imagine if it went for the price of the new BIL or LOT coins at a paltry .00000025 BTC? That would be about 100 times the value it is now. Now wouldn't that be nice if you held 1BTC worth now?
am still considering it once I have got ADT sorted I will be in the position to make the right choice
