Tell you what? Patience. Run wallet, go outside for 15 minutes or watch tv for a while. Then look again if wallet is synching.

If you want to communicate with dev, the contact person is samysamy1.

There is idea by Adriano to build a separate page for to-do information: listed items, involved people, donation addresses, donators etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Multipool- the most wanted thing at the moment. Adriano is working hard on the multipool project. Soon it will be at early testing stage. Let's give him opportunity to get some rest!

Many thanks to Adriano for hard work and enthusiasm. So far members pledged 700 000+ COMM for Multipool set up. Everyone is welcomed to join the pledges list.
Also thanks to xtester for maintaining multipool's pledges list.

2. Website design and management. jiuge made an alternative earlier before this thread begun to grow rapidly. Community must decide wether use it reworked, how it should be changed, etc. Link: www.community-coin.com  I think .com domain is also respectable.

    Donations/pledges for website:
    xtester - 5 000
    mozurt - 10 000
    wasamata - 5 000
    Secondleo - 10 000

3. Subreddit page design work. Now it has default template design. illiki23 offered his assistance for reddit page development.

4. Good quality youtube video for promotional purposes. coinking suggested to make a song by himself. Community must decide wether compose
it or not and what genre it should be.

    Donations/pledges for youtube video:
    brampower - 5 000
    DeviledMoon - 5 000
    wasamata - 3 000

    Donations/pledges for coinking's song:
    testadimerlo - 5 000
    mugwampbro - 1 000
    wasamata - 2 000

5. Articles about Communitycoin.

6. Linux wallet.. Compiled for Ubuntu based Linux distributions by signorama. Thanks! Download link: https://mega.co.nz/#!RkQQgJRa!5RcwiUIzhVSH9lVOi49TbkeaD8ph_aDMwH6Z4M3YCBY
Please test it and leave a feedback.

    Donations/pledges for Linux wallet compilation:
    brightlight - 3 000

7. Updated logo, if dev accepts it's change. mymenace made the first and by far the only alternative. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6121487

8. Not mandatory, but Android wallet could be a good point about coin. Also as promotional move.

    Donations/pledges for Android wallet:
    lumeire - 20 000
    wasamata - 10 000

9. OSX wallet. Released by instacash (link in OP). Please donate him to support the job done and future releases!

So far donators for OSX wallet:
    brightlight - 20 000 - Sent
    rbbrdckybk - 5 000 - Sent
    mamamia2014 - 3 000 - Sent
    anonymous - 100 - Sent
    BTCMS - 10 000 - Sent

10. Faucets. One developed buy Adriano. Thanks! http://community.bitcoinland.org/faucet/

----------------------------------------------------------------

As of now their non-specific purpose donations offered users:

Jr.peng - 10 000
BitcoinBaBa - 10 000

----------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget to vote at Mintpal!

Please PM me if here is someone, who can undertake some of the listed duties or just make a post with suggestions.

Updated Donations/pledges for positions. If I missed something, give me a note.

Please, if you want to offer your donations, just post them (I am going through thread pages regularly) or PM me. I'll update this post with your offer. In addition, if you have ideas what to add to to the list, also do not hesitate to give a feedback.

Any way we could get a link to this post from the OP?

I am updating it and reposting. So the location of updated post is changing by time.

Sure, but it would be easier to find, especially to those more unfamiliar with the thread for the OP to simply link to the post and then, instead of re-posting, you would edit the same post.

I cleaning up the second round list, about 280 people to process.

@devs

Please DO NOT initiate the second round until the Multipool is running...  TRUST ME!!!    Wink

Yes!

let us have the multipool up and running so that people think twice about selling cheap after receiving the second stake.
Agree with you and I think it is better to show the name list of second round.

those early sellers, publicly, not active supporters will be omitted in the process list. those we impress that he is not going to support. I remove at second round. Read op again if any questions. I dropped here when i am checking a profile. I am happy to see community motivated. Here is from me some updates.

this is http://ecoiner.org/communitycoin/2nd-round-raw-list-1684/#post8020 second round initial raw list.
i check those if any problem with community rules and then will process with second 2m if you are not exists in this list and received before  you were not active, maybe not yet processed you (late or newer members processed later times so we see who did what better) and we continue getting applications to reach 500 exactly. then prepare blacklisted ones list, their coins put on a WAR wallet to be used in critical events, anything community cant or difficult to handle. So we all can rise in this forest to sunshine.

Keep producing for the community.

I find it quite ridiculous that it's a coin that's apart from the PoS concept that I actually find very appealing, is about some "fair distribution" based on if people has contributed or not and the limit you have to pass is to posts 50 messages on here. As if the crypto community only consist of this forum... [Edit: typo]

Not ridiculous at all.  No absolute fairness at all.
We indeed need some rules to select the initial stakeholders in order to distribute the 100% PoS coins. So we have rules to select active members.

You do realize that I was pointing out that there's not only one place where the community is active right? There's something called IRC and github, if you've ever heard of them.

Yes, there should be some bias. That's the way the COMM is designed.
Like C2, you need have senior Facebook account.
Like AUR, you need have Iceland nationality.
These are alll biased.
There is no a perfect selection creteria which is fair for everybody.
If you think there is one, show us.

I'm just whining since I rarely use forums but consider myself an active community member. That said, I'll just buy them by the buckload once everyone starts panicking instead. (See, now I have 10% of the post count already, took me 10 minutes of spewing useless garbage)
you "activity" seems only to be linked to comm/btc rate... how good would it be to the coin ?
and contrary to what you think, being "active" does not mean "spewing useless garbage", you would know that if you would have read the application form.

And you, my dear friend, has obviously not read a single one of my previous posts given what you think my "activity" is related to. And no, if you think I'mt rying to spew myself to the post count, not really, 34 (28)posts is quite alot. However, by now I can admit that this has become noise instead of comments directed to the one of the purposes of the coin and will stop posting here, and so should probably you do as well.

I just filled out the coinmarketcap request form to get COMM listed on coinmarketcap. I used the information below.

What is the coin's official website?
http://www.communitycoin.info/

Which exchanges is it traded on? List all that apply.
https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_comm
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-COMM

Please provide a URL of the coin's official logo:
http://www.communitycoin.info/logo2.png

Please provide any other information that would be useful.
e.g. announcement thread links
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-communitycoin-comm-pure-pos-original-comm-multipools-coming-soon-558319

Please provide an email address or Bitcointalk username to contact in case any questions arise. (Optional)
samysamy1
You can also add this exchange to the list: https://www.allcrypt.com/market?id=434

The criteria for a coin to be added are:
Must be a cryptocurrency
Must be traded on a public exchange that is older than 30 days and with an API available.
Must have a public URL that displays the total supply (total mined so far).

COMM is listed on these exchanges, but do either allcrypt or nintencoin have an API?

https://www.allcrypt.com/market?id=434
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-COMM
https://ex.nintencoin.com/Trade/Crypto/Market/?cid=18
https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_comm

Edit

Sorry, I just checked and AllCrypt added an API on March 24, so I submitted a revised coinmarketcap request form including this link.

https://www.allcrypt.com/market?id=434

I could not find an API for nintencoin, but if anyone else can I will revise the coinmarketcap request form again.

Help please from the COMMUNITY! my wallet doesn't sync!  Huh

1. Do you have version 1.3?
2. Is it Windows, OSX or Linux wallet?

1. Yes v1.3
2. windows

First of all backup wallet.dat file. (location: user/appdata/roaming/communitycoin) or export it from wallet-qt.

Then go to mentioned folder and delete everything except wallet.dat file.

Run your wallet-qt again. Wait while blockchain downloads and syncs.

Note: appdata folder is hidden, therefore go to control panel/folder options and under View tab make changes in order to see it.

Still doesn't work. Tried with 3 PCs. Got it to work on Mac thought. Thanks for your help! Great community only here at CommunityCoin  Wink

I just filled out the coinmarketcap request form to get COMM listed on coinmarketcap. I used the information below.

What is the coin's official website?
http://www.communitycoin.info/

Which exchanges is it traded on? List all that apply.
https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_comm
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-COMM

Please provide a URL of the coin's official logo:

Please provide any other information that would be useful.
e.g. announcement thread links
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-communitycoin-comm-pure-pos-original-comm-multipools-coming-soon-558319

Please provide an email address or Bitcointalk username to contact in case any questions arise. (Optional)

Great job.  I found they are all fine. However, we have one more exchange, haven't we?
It said "List all that apply."
