Is there an IRC channel for COMM?

There is none, afaik there's just one very empty and silent channel registered with ChanServ at FreeNode. So I guess "the Community" don't know about IRC after all Grin

I find it quite ridiculous that it's a coin that's apart from the PoS concept that I actually find very appealing, is about some "fair distribution" based on if people has contributed or not and the limit you have to pass is to posts 50 messages on here. As if the crypto community only consist of this forum... [Edit: typo]

Not ridiculous at all.  No absolute fairness at all.
We indeed need some rules to select the initial stakeholders in order to distribute the 100% PoS coins. So we have rules to select active members.

You do realize that I was pointing out that there's not only one place where the community is active right? There's something called IRC and github, if you've ever heard of them.

Yes, there should be some bias. That's the way the COMM is designed.
Like C2, you need have senior Facebook account.
Like AUR, you need have Iceland nationality.
These are alll biased.
There is no a perfect selection creteria which is fair for everybody.
If you think there is one, show us.

@devs

Please DO NOT initiate the second round until the Multipool is running...  TRUST ME!!!    Wink

Yes!

let us have the multipool up and running so that people think twice about selling cheap after receiving the second stake.

Let them sell cheap, we wouldnt need them at later stages

Agree. actual distribution is very strict but fair. Strictness helps to exclude cheating, i am not saying that some users were not able to get more stakes at all but the chance is minimal. With other distribution schemes some devs who created fake accounts to support their scamcoin could get extra stakes but with the 50 post rule this is almost excluded

Gread job! Dev.
A question is why there are only 280 people, it should be close to 500 stakeholders, isn't it?
Or maybe I misunderstand ?

I assume it's the first lot he is processing.

I also hope so. Otherwise, there are too many early stakeholders blacklisted.  That also means there are too many coins not distributed. It's not good for the spirit of Free & Fair of Communitycoin.

Just believe in dev. he can deal with all stuff.  Grin

Thanks for the article, but i saw an error there. only 500 stakeholders will get the coins. Please fix it

Updated, the ANN page said 1,000 when I was writing it earlier today, not sure if it still does now Smiley

Since when is a comment about one of the core purposes of a coin noise in the Altcoin Announcement forum? You could just say umad or something..
