I can confirm crashing all the time after short time with "terminating working thread" message.

back to 1.3 too... too many disconnection and miner restart

yes same for me - version 1.3 is stable and works well

Also v1.4 is crashing randomly between 30-60 minutes with some message "terminating mining threadio...".
reverting to v1.3 which is working stable for days (for my setup+pool).

I always make .bat file with restart loop, and this was saving my rig, but slowdowns due to miner restart are hurting profit.

Example of .bat file, do not mind intensity settings, i got one 1080ti rest are 1080.
Code:
@echo off
title GIN lyra2z angrypool.com (coolMiner-x64 1.3 Ryzen2700x)
:start
coolMiner-x64 -a lyra2z -i 20,19.5,19.5,19.5,19.5,19.5 -o stratum+tcp://: -u -p c= -R 10
timeout 10
goto start

Tried the 1.4 too, but i have the same problem with it, after 30-60 min miner exits and not restart, going back to 1.3

I see, indeed there is something wrong when using more then 1 pool, I am still figuring it out, just saw this too:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.40580515

So if V1.3 works stable for you keep using it. I will continiue searching for better solution and update the thread when I find one.

really COOLminer  Wink though it crashes at all my rigs. need to play with OC to get it stable. speed reached as described in the thread.

Edit: couldnt get the miner stable. it crashes on all rigs. switched back to ccminer 2.2.6

you can look at the user's benchmarks:
https://gos.cx/bench?algo=lyra2z&chip=5
https://angrypool.com/bench?algo=lyra2z&chip=3

Try to stabilize it around 2000~2050MHZ, memory OC has no affect, and the core voltage on card are jumping to 1050mV on stock, I only need to raise the core voltage when going over 2025Mhz.
Thanks again!

Please tell the optimal settings for GTX1080

what do you mean? OC/Power/ or intensity?

-i 20  should be OK, and regarding OC you should know your safe max Core turbo clock, 1070/1080ti should be fine ~1900Mhz+, on 2000Mhz+ you must test individually each GPU because some can be stable and some can crush after few min/hours/days

Thanks, now I have ~ 2.4 Mhs from one 1080 Aorus. I want to make a fine-tuning with msi afteberner curve to get a maximum performance at minimum temperature and also want to understand what the memory or chip frequency affects the performance.
What the optimal voltage for my 1080 on this algo?

create .bat file like this:

Code:
:start
coolMiner-x64 -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://: -u -p -i 19  --hide-diff -q
goto start

But if v1.3 worked stable for you you can keep using it, speed is the same.

Hey man your miner was working flawlessly for me but after downloading v1.4 every once a while when I have a connection issue with the pool the miner stops and doesnt try to restore connection and mine again.

Should I add anything in the bat file to force retry or something?

Edit: Thank you Smiley
