Hi everyone,

Sorry that i didnt reply a lot last week, we had an insane week and not for nothing I can tell you that.

We have an amazing announcement comming. And we will rebrand here and there things over the next couple weeks.

I am guessing partnerships, but rebranding in so early stage sounds like you have even more going on behind the curtains.

It's not really a good thing if you're branding, you're already created awerness with the current brand. Can you tell us why? Or we have to wait the announcement ?

You are mixing two different things.

1. Motion sickness When you move in the VR, the brain visually perceives a movement, but not the inner ear, which is responsible for registering bodily movements.

2. Flashing pictures: Recent research indicates that gamma waves (> 30Hz) play a significant role in the brain.
The flickering frequency on the screen stimulates the visual cortex, which can cause discomfort, headaches or epileptic seizures.

But the first symptom should appear almost immediately. And that there was a second symptom, you probably twelve hours continuously look in VR. Therefore, in glasses and don't get seasick, but only strain the eyes. The same can be from the normal screen.
That's my guess, I'm not a doctor. In General, I think that the harm of VR is exaggerated. It only hurts those who abuse it.

I am really curious now what this amazing announcement will be.
And is there any specific reason why you will rebrand? Has it something to do that the newest HTC VR-headset will also be named Cosmos? I know we talked about that topic and thought it is a nice coincidence but maybe it is better to have a different name?

Well, I stare at a computer screen for the whole day because it's part of my Job and I feel nothing. I wish I could say the same in case of VR or while using mobile in a moving car.

Havent used VR set myself yet but i can imagine at best you need to get used to the feeling in order not to get sick but ive seen people use it for a long time and didnt complain so i guess it also depend on a person.

Yes, it sure does vary from person to person but, motion sickness is quite common in human beings and there are a few advances to tackle this problem yet nothing groundbreaking.

I was surprised by the fact that a brain disorder happens in cases of VR use, I still did not know this theory, although I am predisposed to such things, I always get nauseous and headache during use. But even the most sophisticated health exams that promise miraculous diagnoses, have or have already had side effects, is something to be perfected in years, according to the advances

That doesnt seem to stop people from using VR sets, in fact their popularity is growing. But then again staring at a computer screen is not good for your eyes also and we are using computers every day.

Anything excessive will be bad for our health so I think moderation is the key since we can't avoid VR will become an integral part of our lives in the near future.

there are some predisposed people who have trouble with the use of vr or intermittent flash lights but i think the team is already working to find a reasonable solution to this possible problem...

I think that is a problem about hardware not software so i don't think there is anything CosmosCR can do about that.
if it is a hardware problem there is little to do perhaps reduce the frequency of flash animations and put warnings that the use of the platform can cause disruption in some predisposed people, this warning exists in almost all videogames...

You have beta release coming in fourth quarter of 2019. How long do you think that this beta-phase lasts before you are going to release a full version?

But if you stare at the computer all day you don't puke...anyway I bet that VR sets manifacturer will come up with effective solutions to avoid health's problems

Price is going to be a decisive factor. They are still quite expensive overall and require a more than average computer.

Exactly, I think it's only a matter of time until everything is in perfect order, without side effects, after all is something in evolution, and with many fans and developers, no problem will last forever without being solved

In the long run I also expect this to be solved but maybe in a different way than most people think. I expect holograms to replace goggles and VR devices so that you don't have to wear them on your head. Development will still take many years though.
