I really prefer a fair distribution instead of an ICO  (if the algorithm will be ASIC-resistant or a bunch of whales will have the mojority of coins).
About DPoS, what do you think about leveraging Ark to build your own chain?

not even i expected the cancellation of the ico i'm curious to see how they will organize the direct launch of the platform on the market and the token swap, how will the tokens be undermined? we'll see...

So how tokens will be distributed? If you will have POW, than this will be own blockchain with native coins? Coins will be mining by GPU or CPU?

Okay. The cancellation of their ICO was unexpected for me but I can totally understand the reasons behind it. And it is a courageous decision that not many projects would have made.

Now it will be interesting to see how the community reacts to the new way of the token distribution. Instead of directly investing money in the project, now you do it kind of indirectly by mining. I just hope you don't need any specific mining gear and that it's very easy and convenient to mine even on our home PCs.

Well we still will need a swap from the POW > DPOS, The specs and algo will be released soon with more information. There will be no Premine, but probably a small block reward going to the company.
(we did an airdrop and they should be getting there rewards etc.) We finalizing the details atm.

Ok, so this will skip the erc20 placeholder phase. What are the specs on the coin now? Will you fund it with premine? What algorithm are you going to use etc?

I disagree, you can be the best coder, but as long as you dont understand the structure and the safety aspects of crypto you will not be able to code a safe crypto environment.

This is a wide area, you have to be fit f.e. in:
-structure of blockchain, Tangle ...
-cryptographic algorythms
-consensus algorithms
-byzantine fault tolerance
-consistency and scaling of distributed systems
-smart contracts
...

There is so much more to know to be a good coder for crypto related software and to make a safe product,
since hacker are everywhere and your software will be attacked everytime and from the best hackers worldwide.

Looking forward to hear more about this change, when do you plan to release more details approximately? There have been next to none legit projects taking this road lately and hopefully will pay off for you.

We decided for a long period of time with the complete team what are the best solutions and directions for the future.

The space evolved a lot and so did the ICO market. We noticed that there is a bearmarket (hard to ignore). That started after we started the company and roadmap.
And with the STO market comming up the ICO market will probably even decrease more now people can receive dividends etc.

Our project roadmap is one thing creating an insane platform that is innovative and ready for the future. But we listen to the community and the crypto environment.
And it's telling us crypto dont want more ICO's maybe in another bullmarket the frenzy will be back, but not now.

That's why we're super proud to announce that we cancelled the ICO. And planning on a fair launch this will help improvepartnership deals in the future. No regulation problems in the future
(although we have super lawyers, how some countries will handle ICO's in the future is unknown). And proof people we're not a scam, but a true project.

This will open a lot new doors for us and this means also for you all!

We will start with a simple POW for the token distribution and will evolve into our own DPOS chain in the future. We will use the dpos system to also increase the data distribution and speed of the complete
Virtual world. This gives nodes a great incentive to run extra nodes that help the ecosystem.

We will soon have an announcement to explain our thoughts and ways we would like to proceed in the future.

If something unique happens on blockchain like twitter, facebook, instagram, uber, airbnb (not a copycat of old things, a unique thing) etc. and here is the mass adoption.

You are right. If you know the logic behind things then nothing is far fetched. Only syntax is different which is not a big issue.

Talented and passionated coders don't have problems to code blockchain's related software, at the end programming languages are the same in every applications, Javascript, Java, C, Python, etc...

If I'm not mistaken, I have not seen anyone from their core developers being with any  previous blockchain projects but they always hire additional more competent blockchain devs as long as the team focuses and are being serious on making this project become a reality.

Actually i would rather see them having good programmers and content creators in their team than just blockchain experts, the best option is to have few of each but we all know how hard is it to get true experts nowadays.

Blockchain technology is in its early stages so, mass talent would be very hard to find. People learn with time and practice.

even if the devs working on the project do not have specific experience in the blockchain sector, they have all my confidence because i think is enough the enthusiasm and the desire to learn to go on and i believe that the team will hire other devs with experience in the field if necessary

Yes, but its hard to decide, whether a developer is experienced or not, as long as you are not a blockchain coder yourself.

About, rebranding i don't have any excitement about that but a big announcement can be anything so very curious and i hope we will hear the details soon.

Given the major hacks happening with exchanges i'm not sure if it's good or bad. Surely i wouldn't trust much devs which claim to have a lot of experience on it, since it's still a new and vast field always evolving.

Patience my friend, it will come when it's done (I think). I myself am waiting updates from tons of sources and keeping myself busy doing non-crypto stuff to be less concerned.
