Can the users buy the virtual land from the vr world application only? (since those are non-fungible tokens), or can we shop them via markets like opensea.io - I am asking because i have invested (in the past) on the virtual city where you could buy land tokens only trough their site.

Deeponion is a case that worked before. And as far as i know, no project tried to copy that method which is interesting i must say.

Yeah that airdrop method of DeepOnion was surprisingly effective  but they have to think also of other ways to attract supporters / people into the project. By the way, Bitsend also did that kind of airdrop before DeepOnion did which is also an effective one. Smiley

Also, semux made a similar one to DeepOnion but semux also has a good promising blockchain so i can't really say it counts.

Too bad none of those has solid product to show yet, i hope they are still in development and will provide us with a solid product. But when it comes to promotion, there is nothing better then an airdrop.

Right, for promotion it is very good, but the root of this question was a distribution method for the coins and therefore its not the best choice.

What exactly has the Team prepared so far to start the development of a chain? I hope it is a wise decision and brings a lot of fruit to the project and we, investors

Well creating a simple POW chain can take less than a week, but we are now talking about all options with our lawyers. We might even have a different approach.

But one thing is for sure, we wont do an ICO or STO.

I don't see many options if you're not going for the ICO/STO route. An airdrop? It's really bad and I don't like it, mainly because people just want to sell their free coins, making them useless

Yes, an airdrop isn't really ideal either. People should have to do something for their tokens. Otherwise, they will just dump and move on. So either mining or maybe something like the Deep Onion signature campaign? However, I'd prefer a distribution over POW mining.

It was effective becaue the airdrops were worth something during the bull run. that caused more and more people to join the airdrop and it was good marketing. These days it is more difficult imo.

Yes, but an airdrop can be additionally as a little gift.  Smiley

i'm waiting to see how the virtual platform / project will be launched on the market without going through an ico,
in the meantime the pow seems like a good idea

Yes, it will be interesting to follow. Every projects needs money but ICOs are almost dead so projects must find new ways.
ICO is not yet dead there still some good project out there, CosmosCR is just going back to the roots where mining and hard work will yield something good, we all know that a lot of project tried to capitalize on VR platform but only few of them had produce something useful.

I awould rather say that ICOs are dead for crap project, now is not possible, for obvious reasons, to raise few millions with just an idea. For good projects can and will be viable.

In this case i'm waiting to hear more details and a solid plan.

Ok but Deeponion seems pretty dead to me but it was a useless coin , a so called "private coin" just because of ToR routing

There's adult space also which I don't think any other player has. Are you guys open to porn also or there are some restrictions on adult space?

It could be a possibility but with so many ideal and promising applications with Virtual Reality, I guess it will be given least priority by the development team. Imho.

What mining do you prefer ?

CPU

GPU

Asic

GPU, please no ASIC, I can't see a fair distribution when a few people can take over a mining pool with their machines, so please no SHA256, Scrypt, X11 etc....

I agree, a GPU based mining could help for a wider distribution of tokens and could reach to many people becoming even more decentralized. Imho.

At least something new in this space rather than relying on ERC20 tokens and having an ICO.

Lately ICO are drying up and its about time someone tries something else. If you dont adapt to the current situation, then you wont be able to make enough to support your project for longer period.

Are you planning to keep part of the tokens so have some kind of premine? Or everything will need to be entirely mined since the begin?

The project goal seems quite interesting, like Decentraland.
