Actually there will not be only games on the mainland, but whatever people create can be webshops, showrooms, games, casino, art, university or a bar.

This sounds interesting. Virtual reality is a future such as blockchain as well. Decentraland is became very popular already... May be this project will become popular too.
But how you will monetize this?

I believe that even projects that use VR in their activities and do not achieve immediate success will have their moment of success someday, for as soon as Blockchain, VR is here to stay, and 5% of what has potential to use is not yet used

They will build tax offices in every city of course.

how will they monetize? the various things that can be purchased in the virtual world will be bought with tokens (therefore profit) and will be then taxed all the shops, casinos, nightclubs and even properties of the lands (therefore other gains)...

Bcnex - The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform

This sounds interesting. Virtual reality is a future such as blockchain as well. Decentraland is became very popular already... May be this project will become popular too.
But how you will monetize this?

I think they will use utitlity tokens to pay for services and purchases inside the VR.
Does the token have holding value where people can get something by holding it or perhaps there is a mechanism to support and increase the token price? If there is anything rather than just relying solely on the law of supply and demand.

For a utility token i believe taking some percantage of tokens out of circulation is a must.

Like buying tokens with some percentage with the profit or just burning a ratio of all transactions. But something should be implemented.

From what you just say The world inside the VR will be able to use their tokens. The problem is that not everyone can afford a VR equipment. At the moment they are very expensive. It would be better to start with augmented reality and with virtual reality, as it would be much easier for ordinary people to access its platform or services.

Would like to see a comparison between blockachain related virtual reality projects but I don't think that is feasible right now, afaik only decentraland has something to show

Yeah, such an comparison could be very helpful. Especially when you consider how much different VR projects there are already.

That's a tough prediction due to the seemingly endless possibilities of each technology. Virtual reality will be highly popular in the entertainment sector as well as in the corporate world when it comes to designing new products.

I am hoping that i'll get my new vr glasses ordered by the time this platform launches. Still comparing and waiting though, since everything moves so quickly in that space.

Does it move quickly? Oculus Rift has not been updated since 2016. Despite some other glasses having a higher resolution, Rift is still the best trade-off between price, tracking, comfort and image quality. VR manufacturers are bottlenecked by on the displays produced by the mobile phone industry. Even once that problem is tackled, there is the performance problem. To drive high resolution displays you will need a powerful computer few people can or want to afford. That is holding back the tech.

Actually Oculus Rift is doing this already way before this even, VR will never be a space that is "Done" just like computers and mobil phones. It's not the most fast moving sector but it has huge potential and people love it really. Thats why over the next few years it will only grow and AR and VR combined will make this market go even faster.

Same count for many big companies now they started when the market was not fully evolved yet that gives them the head-start when the tech gets more adopted, we want to do that with our VR metaverse.

Hope i answered everyone, now going to a Christmas market and will answer new questions as soon as possible!

Have a nice weekend everyone

Is this an Erc20 token and will remain on the ethereum chain or are there any plans to develop and move to own blockchain in future?

I think changing to your own blockchain is very important, such as you don't get affected due to some lags in the ethereum blockchain or overloading. In the future they can definitely think this.

Exactly, it's something to consider, as the ETH network and its unpredictability become more irritating every day. The transactions clogged in the important moments, the games without any real foundation. Having your own chain today, or at least the possibility of it, adds value to any script

Its chain requires a completely different level of programmers. I dont think that this kind of projects can afford it. Keeping the network running without money and community is very difficult.

I dont really agree on this, yea its difficult and requires more money, but keeping the network up and running should never cost a huge amount of money for the company.
Eventually a well designed blockchain give incentive to run the network and make it grow decentralized. Depending on what kind of chain also POW, DPOS.
The start need to be managed but eventually the community should run this and grow this.

So community i agree you need that, but i think before we would launch a mainnet if we create an own blockchain this should not be a problem. POW bring some dangerous aspects with low hashrate, but pow would not benefit the network a lot compared to what DPOS can.

Well there are much different onchain votings systems, some better then others i think coins like Tezos and Decred are great, prevent forking and also let people help taking decisions.

Gamed voting is mostly cause people create a system where people dont have to put their money where their mouth is, thats why for exemple decred got tickets and tezos a bond and roll.
This will let people have more good intention for the voting cause they actually have to own the coin and put it at stake. Tricking this system is expensive and also put your own coins at risk.

Like i said its experimental but we def. going to have a look at it.

Internet lowers the inhibitions most people have when they interact with each other. Which is why forums and social media are such cesspools.

In fact that unfiltered behavior has seeped into our physical societies. We are in the age of meme wars, in which people are brainwashed, every news article has an agenda, all nuance is eradicated and science has become something to be ashamed of. We stopped thinking with our brains and started trusting our gut feelings.

If we cannot even get democracy right in the real world I have a hard time believing any good can come from a virtual democracy.

People should have a vote, although the end decision is always done by the Non profit foundation. We want to build together with the people for the people.

That's a tough prediction due to the seemingly endless possibilities of each technology. Virtual reality will be highly popular in the entertainment sector as well as in the corporate world when it comes to designing new products.

There is a huge amount of questions if we can build something for corporations from VR car showroom to a First aid simulator for people in the Marine sector.
We're actually suprised how fast this is going.

Project is intriguing to say the least. I don't know if anyone has asked that already, but which will be the main differences towards decentraland?

Our main differences are

the dynamic land system, where people need to perform tasks to prove they still own the PK, this is important cause you dont
want empty land parcels in the centre. People can change location, connect land etc. (We will release an article on this soon).
Also we are working on onchain voting for a governance system, but this we want to decide with the community like a constitution (experimental atm)

We have a non profit foundation that sell all the land and will use the tokens raised to get project to the platform and help project
realise their project if they make a kick-ass proposal that improve aswell the metaverse as use-cases. First 50k land parcels will be sold by this foundation
and also the planets.

Our data sharing and storage solution is not the same, we will offer also support for IPFS, but also a lot more and we will create solutions
improving this and actually make it possible to have a best possible working metaverse.

We will have three markets in our app (we didnt gave them a name yet)
- Real estate market (for the land titels)
- Community store for 3d models and other NFT's that are created for the platform or even by people.
- App store, the complete system is a decentralized open source metaverse so we are creating an app store where developers can sell their apps for other
land owners or players to use. (think about woocommerce ideas etc. but than for the metaverse)

Sounds really cool. Which are the technical skills you are having in your team as far as coding in this field is concerned? And which are the skills you are still missing and need to find human resources for? To setup just an ambitious project is no joke.

Thanks, We have a great team already our CTO is a genius if you ask me over 27 years of programming experience. We already have a blockchain developer and even a game developer, but we def. need more developers to push the lines of code  Smiley  Also we can always use more people in marketing, promoting the product and letting people know about it is a major step into adoption.

Well we know we can make it so yes it's ambitous but everyone can do an easy thing we want to make something special.

I think changing to your own blockchain is very important, such as you don't get affected due to some lags in the ethereum blockchain or overloading. In the future they can definitely think this.

How great would a dpos chain be that actually help the virtual world! We would love that, did you notice we talk in the whitepaper not about ERC721 specificly. At this stage Ethereum is expensive
specially for NFT, try to hop a crypto pepe can sometimes cost up to $0,8 each transaction this will not work for us.

We keep an eye on a lot scalability solutions.

Well one can build gas-free on chain solution like Vibehub did for their platform where the transactions happen on Vibe platform remain gas free and if user only has to pay tx fee if he withdraws the funds to his own wallet.

Yea there are a lot things possible dpos sidechain on ethereum also super interresting, specially cause you keep the complete Ethereum infrastructure that is already well developed across platforms.

There are some other VR projects on blockchain that managed to raise quite a nice sum in their ICOs. Do you have any informations which of those have actually a good product out already and a good community? I was wondering who will be your biggest rivals.

I think our biggest rival in that case would be Decentraland, selling out their ICO in a super fast time, but we dont see them as a rival we have respect for all projects.

Personally i dont like their land system a lot, it makes it hard to actually own land and really expensive. We want to build something that can keep growing in the many years ahead and  give people enough space
to create that what they would like to create. Thats why i think our dynamic land will be our succes story in the future.

Hi everyone,

Last Friday we had a VR stand at Crypto Friday in the Netherlands, was super fun and people where really excited and enjoyed it a lot.
Funny to see how fanatic people are playing VR. We will upload this on monday on social media with pictures and maybe a video.

Now I'm in Germany for the weekend drinking Gluhwein and enjoying with the fam. (well deserved after working 12 hours + every day for months)

Will try to answer as much questions as possible if i miss one i will come back on this on monday.

I hope this project brings back some credibility to the blockchain VR industry. There were quite a few that really brought the momentum down a couple notches.
