I think the market is just waiting for certain developments to complete which will help Capricoin and CapriPay to compete for market share with a greater advantage.

They have been steadily growing a base of merchants in various countries around the world, where CapriPay has launched to ingest merchants like South Africa, Czech Republic, Spain just to name a few.

What will be launching soon that will help them take things to the next level is the decentralized BitPeer exchange which will provide a fiat currency on/off ramp to Capricoin.  This will also help enable another layer of functionality in the app that allows this same ability, and also within the function of a transaction.

If you observe the market composition on Bittrex, which is the largest exchange with Capricoin currently, you will notice there are not a lot of heavy sellers on the market.  Just take a look at the sell side, if this starts taking off at a greater pace with merchant adoption and their proposed features waiting to launch, it could begin a steady rise.  This is pretty much the lowest CPC has been since it took to a higher level through the premature market excitement a year or so ago.  Great buying opportunity with some of your extra BTC!

I see on Bittrex that a while ago total supply was about 700k  now about 950k. There were 200 million premined. Just guessing but as supply increases and buyers don't show up, you are diluting the coin so price drops. BUT, if there are only 950k available (that is a low supply in Crypto) to buy and buyers start buying the coin, the price can rise very fast. The problem is that there are 200 million coins still out there and when all is said and done there will be a  total of 208 Million Total Capricoin Supply outstanding after 24 years.


I am wondering what is being done with all the other 200 Million coins and who is holding them. I think that is a big issue for many people. Since if price rises the holders of those coins can simply release more and cash out.

If this project takes off and it seems like there are some real good developments, who knows what fair value is for 208 million coins.

If you read this thread others have mentioned that the real available supply is around 50 Million right now but if you are interested in this coin, you have to decide if it is worth your hard earned money. I think there is lots of upside potential but with 200 million, also a risk that price drops further until buyers really take an interest in this coin. (that probably didn't didn't help much )

We have seen amazing growth and activity during this period. The dynamic in which the system has been developing is really overwhelming, especially when we look at the detail.

Just in one year the number of CapriPay users has exploded to over 30,000. CapriPay has already spread worldwide covering more than 30 countries, with the number of transactions within the system approaching 50,000 with more than 2,000,000 Capricoins being transferred within the system.



As the number of Caripay users grows so does the number of Capripay Merchants. With more than 200 approved merchants over 80 Publicly listed merchants in over 20 countries CapriPay has processed over 30,000 merchant transactions  of more than 1,000,000 CPC in turnover and distributed over 10, 000 Capricoins in Cashback.

Over 10,000,000 notification sent out, 3,000 support tickets answered, 20,000 accounts verified.

As the number of CapriPay users grows so does the number of CapriPay Merchants. We currently have 200 approved merchants in over 20 countries with 80 of these publicly listed on the website and the App.

CapriPay has distributed over 20,000 Capricoins in Cashback and sent out over 100,000 App notification. We have responded to 1,500 support tickets and verified 20,000 accounts.

Taking the next step

hello, whether the project is still being developed? the price seems attractive, but even a topic no one writes .. 

To transfer coins from Bittrex or any other exchange to your CapriPay wallet, just log into your CapriPay account at www.CapriPay.com and create a support ticket requesting to deposit coins.  They will provide you with an address to send the coins into.  It will take 24-48 business hours for the Capricoins to be credited to your account.

In the next update traditional receiving addresses will be added so that deposit can be made to your CapriPay wallet without requesting support.

To transfer coins from CapriPay to your desktop wallet, simply log into your CapriPay account at www.CapriPay.com and do the following steps:

1. Click SEND
2. Click WITHDRAW
3. Choose amount of Capricoin, set wallet address to send to, and enter secret password to authorize the transaction and send the coins.

It will take 24-48 hours for the withdrawal request to complete as it's a manually handled process at this point.  However an automatic solution will be in place for both deposits and withdrawals very soon, that will also be able to complete virtually instantaneously.

There is currently an API available for installation on merchant websites.  You can login to www.CapriPay.com and contact support for assistance with API integration.  If not available already, API will be capable of bulk transactions processing.  I'll confirm on that and report back.

Capricoin's alignment with this exchange alongside Bitcoin and Litecoin will be HUGE for the future of Capricoin.  There are plans to make CPC an exchange peg on Bitpeer within the first year.  There will also be functionality to get in and out of Capricoin via fiat currency via BitPeer.

BitPeer is just plain huge for the cryptocurrency industry because it makes trading safer than ever before.  The coins you trade are not ever stored on BitPeer!  This is different than any of the prototypical cryptocurrency exchanges that have been popular up until this point, which use centralized database systems in order to store your coins.  These systems are vulnerable.  Decentralization of a cryptocurrency exchange removes these vulnerabilities by going a different route to achieve the same goals.

2] The high satoshi value of Capricoin in September of 2015 was .00060207 BTC per CPC.  Just to be fair, the highest value of BTC in Sept. of 2015 was $254.67 per BTC.

[A $254.67 per BTC was not even a stable price as it was a bull run over the course of one day, the average price of BTC over the course of September 2015 was actually closer to $235 per BTC.  But I'm going to show you that are wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt by using the highest value of BTC for what I'm about to show you.]

3] If you do the simple math, then the highest value of a single CPC during the month of September was $0.1528 per CPC.

$254.67 BTC x .00060207 = $0.15332917 per CPC.

Conclusion:
Today in October 2016, a year and one month later the price of CPC is at a currently stable $0.23 cents per coin.  That is still marked growth over the course of a year, as Capricoin & CapriPay forge their path forward as a payment solution
