What happs to this?

Looks like only one exchange with no BTC/WAVI buyers and all sells with the MC/WAVI pair on https://trade.multicoins.org

and the MC thread says they were just doublespend attacked... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1949232.180

and the largest pool  wavi.suprnova.cc says This pool will be closing due to no development of the coin and decreasing interest of miners. Please withdraw your remaining coins and switch to other pools. Thanks.

Death Spiral sound about right?

It looks like the miners from suprnova have moved to other project. Suprnova had ~150 miners, now the largest pool only has 24 wavi miners:(

thanks for the link, ibut its just a pic of the miner, i see no download.

This coin is pumping like mad, no idea why.

hi mate, try this link https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AHk1hss4HZtCU60&id=C7ABE390AB1575E7%21825&cid=C7ABE390AB1575E7

so i guess yenten is not cpu only anymore eh

yeah i can mine any CPU only coin with this GPU miner so at this point there is no such thing as cpu only from what i can see

What exchange do you see it "pumping like mad" on?

It was up 3000% on the month until a few hours ago..

Dear community. As you already know recently there was an unpleasant situation with the coin YENTEN (YescryptR16):
the attackers took advantage of the vulnerability in the source code of YENTEN thanks to this they received 84 million coins. This was followed by a price reduction to 0.1-1 Satoshi per coin. Hopefully, the YENTEN community will successfully resolve this.

However, many people believe that this problem could flow into the WAVI source code. This is a misconception so it is necessary to clarify this situation.

As it became known from the discussion on BTCtalk (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2329470.4140) the reason for this problem was a vulnerability in the source code called CVE-2018-17144 (more information: https://bitcoincore.org/en/2018/09/20/notice/). This vulnerability appeared in the Bitcoin source code in November 2016 in the version of Bitcoin Core 0.14.0 and was solved on September 18 this year in update 0.16.3. So this issue migrated to the YENTEN source code when the fork was produced in October 2017. Therefore this issue is not related to the YENTEN developer (and the YescryptR16 algorithm).

Now that concerns our coin. WAVI is a fork of DASH (a fork of bitcoin on January 18, 2014) in which initially there is no this vulnerability. This means that WAVI is not threatened by this problem and your investment is protected by a digital code.

Link to the source code of YENTEN in which the vulnerability lies:
https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/blob/master/src/validation.cpp#L2859

The corresponding part of the WAVI source code:
https://github.com/wavicom/wavi/blob/master/src/validation.cpp#L500

If you have something to add or make comments, I suggest to discuss it.

Thanks for clearing up the misinfo. I’m all GO on your coin and have mined about 4500. I’ll keep going too because it’s so easy to mine. I did find a GPU miner for this algo that works well on my GTX 1060. With a GTX 1080 on the way I bet it will smash this coin. CPU mining on my 7700K is great. I have 7 old server in my data center mining this coin like crazy and the best part is that it uses the SSE2 feature so basically any Intel CPU can mine it.

Oh one more thing. I dont understand the mixing in the wallet. I dont get how it works..
correct me if i understood wrong but you state that you found a GPU miner for yescrypt32R ??

yes its https://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/yescrypt-gpu-miner/

UPDATE - Wavi coin is KILLING IT! its the only coin up like 2000 percent. The GPU miner that works is called CCminer-KlauST-8.21-mod-R7. That is the one you want and very hard to find. It mines Wavi like an animal on my GTX1060 and my GTX 1080 arrives tomorrow so i cant wait to see what that does. If you cant find it i can send it to you.
