where to trade wavi now?

From today you can exchange your WAVI on the Bisq platform. To do this, you need to download the app:
https://bisq.network/downloads/

You may also need Java to run the application:
https://www.java.com/en/download/

Note: if you encounter errors at startup, try running the app on the path:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Bisq\app\Bisq.jar

Dash v0.12.3 or later is under development.
https://github.com/dashpay/dash/commits/develop

allmost all fixes are marked "X" that means compilation might fail.
but allmost all fixes are able to be commited to wavi if needed.

Hello! So, the update Dash 12.3.1 was released a few days ago. How soon will the update be for WAVI?

Guys, Wavi is not dead ! Bisq released version 0.7.1 today and they included Wavi in it !! Install or upgrade bisq-desktop software :
https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq-desktop/releases or https://bisq.network/downloads/
I just put a 200 Wavi offer, be the first to buy wavi on this platform ! Wink

Also, BTW... Dash Core 0.12.3.1 was published 2 days ago, I'm will take time to look at all changes and see if somes of theses should be add to wavi. I think Wavi-Dev is waiting for pull request from our side... So, if you think there is a commit on this release that we need, let me know or simply do a PR yourself. Or, we could just add all Dash changes on our community coin ! If Wavi-Dev don't respond to it, we could just fork on another GitHub repository...! We could think and discuss about it, but I have the feeling that the Dev is waiting for some work from the community.

So, the final question is... Is Wavi-Dev still the man of the MEN !!!?Huh?? LOL

He is still dead Wink

Scripts for automatic installation Masternode and Sentinel here: https://github.com/wavicom/wavi_scripts/blob/master/README.md

For sentinel script :
I haven't py.test directory in the bin directory.
No test available for me.

Edit : my masternode is still in watchdog expired mode.

in this case, try to install Sentinel manually:

https://github.com/wavicom/sentinel/blob/master/README.md
Done, but I have some issue when I install Sentinel (step 2) :
Quote
    return _setlocale(category, locale)
locale.Error: unsupported locale setting
----------------------------------------
...Installing setuptools, pkg_resources, pip, wheel...done.
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/virtualenv.py", line 2363, in
    main()
  File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/virtualenv.py", line 719, in main
    symlink=options.symlink)
  File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/virtualenv.py", line 988, in create_environment
    download=download,
  File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/virtualenv.py", line 918, in install_wheel
    call_subprocess(cmd, show_stdout=False, extra_env=env, stdin=SCRIPT)
  File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/virtualenv.py", line 812, in call_subprocess
    % (cmd_desc, proc.returncode))

When executing a command:

sudo apt-get-y install python-virtualenv virtualenv

there are no errors? can you try reinstalling python?

Can you explain in fews words (or with a link), why we have to install Sentinel ? what is the use ? What is it doing ?

Sentinel appeared in DASH in update 12.1. And since WAVI is a fork of DASH, the respective requirement of Sentinel migrated to our network. Now MN should function without Sentinel, but in the future, when the DASH V13 update is released, it may become necessary. In that case, if WAVI receives this update we will definitely have to use Sentinel.

On the question why need Sentinel, you can find information on the DASH forums. Example:

https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/what-is-sentinel-masternodes.13063/

In brief: "The Sentinel update adds new features to the platform. It also optimizes existing internal protocols, management, voting and privacy characteristics."
Thanks a lot :-) !

Some body have tested this sentinel for wavy ?

My masternode alternate between "watchdog expired" and "new start needed" but I have still the reward... for the moment (for how much longer ?).

I will follow this project very carefully. Precursor by the algorithm used, I seems to be appropriate to make a first step in the world of masternodes.
