guys this coin is only CPUminer ? I mean in the future is it possible to get a GPU to work on this coin ? sorry for noob question.

also If I only mine using i7 solo will I ever got any CRDS ?

https://crds.co/

"Credits(CRDS) are mined and transactions secured by the award winning cutting edge Argon2d algorithm to ensure zero abuse from botnets, GPU farms & ASIC's. "

Even though right now it is an CPU oriented algorithm, it doesn't mean that GPU mining is out of the picture. I am sure at some point someone is able to write an GPU miner for this, no algorithm is fully resistant to GPUs. The only thing is that the efficiency might not be that much better with GPUs with this algo, could be even worse.

Welcome to MY world!
Is anybody still working on a pool? I don't mind lending my hashes to the network(solo mining) but it's taking me forever to find any blocks(no offense)
I'm working on it. I'm very busy at the day job, so it's taking longer than I thought

Glad to hear you have a day job. Keep up the good work.  Wink

Good to see the project picking up. There are few CPU minable coins out there, and CRDS has a growing community. Another similar coin with a similar history, Zoin, has a market cap of $25 million, so I see that as a target for CRDS.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way, credits really has the capability to be as big as Zoin, these two projects have so much things in common so I think credits will really head to the direction the zoin is currently at right now. In terms of specifications both coins are really comparable to each other so there's no doubt that in the months to come credits will finally get the recognition that it deserves. This project just needs a little push and a huge support from the community then we can finally moon and reach the success zoin is currently getting right now or maybe reach so much more. Zoin is still so undervalued though so I hope that in the next couple of months, people will finally realize the advantages of a cpu-only mining cryptocurrency and realize how valuable they actually are.

MultiDoge is a semi-light weight wallet, for Dogecoin, very pretty, loads QR code, needs Java.
like a core Wallet with pruning=1
http://multidoge.org
https://github.com/langerhans/multidoge/releases

when Credits $CRDS becomes more popular, Not every body would need a Core Wallet/Node,
Updating MultiDodge to work with CRDS would be a nice project.

Just hearing about this coin and after reading the ANN & checking out the website I'm excited about the future.

source for http://www.bitcoinMonitor.com

needs optimization, overflows, Java in some devices is very cpu hungry.
also needs to be modified to work with CRDS.
for direct feed from the node wallet/console/network.
also sometimes does not detect New Block Fee = the code is designed for an older version of the Bitcoin-Core pre 0.10.
Bitcoin-core developers eliminated a lot of functions from >0.10, like solo mining for example...

getnetworkhashps
getnetworkinfo
getpeerinfo
getnettotals
getmininginfo
getinfo
gethashespersec
getdifficulty
getconnectioncount
getblockcount
getblockchaininfo
getbestblockhash
getblockhash #

Thanks for the email and thank you for the donation back then. Very much
appreciated - with today's Bitcoin prices even more so! ;-)
You can find the source code for the website in this repository:
  https://github.com/javgh/bitcoinmonitor-static
Most of the main Javascript code is in the file js/main.js. Note
though, that the website uses the data feed from Blockchain.info. If
there is no such datafeed for another coin, it won't be very easy to
adapt the website for it.
Thanks for the bug reports - I'll try to keep that in mind for the next
time I update the website.
Best regards!
Jan
