Guys

I have a GTX960. Will this be the best miner to use for litecoin? Do you guys know roughly that the gains will be if I mine 24/7 with my GTX 960?

Would be useful the know.

Litecoin is being mined with ASICs for long now.
You'd better mine ethereum, decred or look for a "multipool" you like: zpool, hashpower, nicehash, etc.

https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/tag/1.5.74

should do around 18MHASH.

If you want a faster miner, you can donate and get my private miner. It's a few percent faster.

Thanks for your help. That gives me an error about a missing file :/

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-ccminer-23-opensource-gpl-tpruvot-770064 this one works with 14 Mhash now.

Noob question, but does anyone know where there is a mirror of this software? All the main links seem to be down for the exe version. Have a working eGPU setup with a Nvidia GTX 650 I'd like to try this out with.

If it's really cudaminer that you are looking for:
https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner

Edit:
I did find some old exe's with tweaked versions of mine from long ago (not necessarily any better than the latest git version).
I don't recall which compute levels I included in each compile, so here you go with both binaries I had:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uszg98u4fwjqq7b/myaminer_08-May-15.zip?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/v3mfuhmcne0q78c/myaminer_09-May-15.zip?dl=0

Files are renamed just as that's how I avoid mixing my lame tweaking attempts from the original binaries, but the original ones I did not locate. You can just rename them and otherwise use just as the original cudaminer.

Thanks a lot appreciate it Smiley

edit: also found a mirror of the latest version here: http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/download/cudaminer-2014-02-28-windows.zip
That's the one you want for Cuda mining. The best one. But it maybe best to check these threads too.

Hi guys,

I was thinking to buy a graphic card for mining. Nvidia 950, 960 or 970. Do you know what is the actual hashrate for these cards for x11, x13, x15, quark, lyra2rev2 ? I have free electricity and cooling so i do not care about the consumption and air conditioning.

thank you  Smiley
gee

buy amd cards specially used 280x is the best option

only a few algos require more than 2GB with high intensity, but i can say no in general

guys, is there a difference between 4GB and 8GB card? i mean if ccminer can use it or it depends on algo? for example GTX960 2GB or 4GB?

for me the 970 is the best for systems with one card... it start to be a problem with 2 in a closed box

why there is a problem with 2 cards?

I guess cooling inside the case.
But I assume you'll at least keep it open for mining, won't you?

it depends on the graphic card or the cooler, because some graphic cards are closed and only on one end is exhaust. that is easy but most other cards are opened and you have to suck the hot air. this also depends if the cooler is across the card or lengthwise.
