I dont think so.. I have an i5 4690k and 8gb of RAM at 1600mhz.. no hardware problem , it seems a software crash..does ccminer require cuda sdk?

Run 6 istance of ccminer has no sense.. if i want to solo mine or instamine i need to run only one istance of ccminer with the power of 6 thread..I need to understand what i have to do to run 6 750ti in one istance of ccminer.. anyone do it? Maybe you Amph?

Hi guys i have a big issue.. I bought 6 750ti but i cannot run all of them at the same time cause ccminer always crash.. anyone is running 6 750ti?

yeah work perfectly, maybe a crap cpu? or low memory/virtual also

btw can ccminer mine old sha256, isn't added right?
not profitable at all.... (and this is by itself a good reason to not  spend any time adding it....
the algo is present though... or will be since it is part of m7)

edit: well may-be not present, is it sha256 or sha256d (whatever it is...) ?

it could be good for instaming, sometimes some new sha256 pop up, 2-3 blocks could give you some btc in a few minutes

this for example https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ssd-sonicscrewdriver-powpos-sha256tor-includedbittrex-ccex-and-bleutrade-730844 1 block = 0.012
I already tried that with my small asic 330m (which is what you would get with a gpu... 700m on the 290x if I remember well). You will just get orphan because the THash machine won't let you validate anything...

You will have the same luck at instamining blocks with a cpu on scrypt/x11... (and they won't get validated...)
That's why my small asic is just sitting on top of the pc rather being plugged in it...

mmh, that's really bad, i thought it was possible to catch some blocks...never mind then

Look like windows miner for xcn is out in test phase https://www.dropbox.com/sh/56lnq52g4gny0m0/AADMJa2QTMSSc4g9gx1BfWIla

Windows ? In my windows 6 cards require 6Go to run properly and don't have "validate nonce CPU ...."
But in linux It run fine with 4 Go.

Don't know why ...

consume on new cards can not lie, this mean that the 870 is only 2.5 750ti and 880 x3 like it was said long time ago

Do u think 870 / 880 can have an optimize miner which make use of ARM Cores ?

I think 800 / 900 series could be a game changer to mining.

Honestly if they gave you access to the ARM cores as a processor, in future it could be a stand alone miner with a small os running on the GPU, or a program that just runs on the GPU processor

I can honestly see Nvidia selling entire systems which are just a GPU/CPU/Memory all together that just needs a MB

Pretty close to ASIC

so 870 is x3 750ti and consume slightly less? 170 vs 60x3, and 880(non ti) is already x4 or x 5 and only 200w(190w precisely)

they always have ti which is better and cheaper in terms of performance to cost ratio ?

Not sure 870 VS 880 which is better in terms of cost to hash ratio and cost to watt ratio

I hate doing 2 PSU to 1 rig. But looks like 6 x 880 will need 2 PSU

I dont think they always do, i think it depends what power they can get it to kick out.
Right now i am thinking sell my 3 750ti's for $400, buy a 870 for $359, same performance theoretically and roughly the same power
or buy an 880 (ti) for the extra ~$200 and just have 1 slot used
