all versions of ccminer has crashed for me as well, I cant find the problem. I have an ASUS 750Ti OC. Mining HVC.

How much oc if any? I've only had hvc crash with too much oc.

The card is oc, I havent over clocked it any.  I have had the crash problems for weeks now. Even some times I have to re-install the drivers of all 4 cards

hrm, I didn't test hvc last time, can you try ccminer with a different coin? i.e. Jackpotcoin or mjollnircoin

Hey y'all !
I've been using CudaMiner since last December on various Nvidia cards/Gpu's.
I currently mine with an MSI 750 ti (gaming edition).

My question: is ccMiner going to replace CudaMiner, or are both going to be supported?
Can anyone explain (like I'm 5 years old) what the differences are ?

Thanks !
CudaMiner puts the squares in the right holes
CCMiner puts the triangles in the right holes

What sort of power draw are people seeing on quark vs other algos on 750Ti? Not had time to try the latest CCminer.

Unfortunately I don't have enough time to keep up with the (brilliant!) pace of development and speculate on early mining of new coins; however, with the high cost of power and falling BTC/USD the profitability of lower power use coins improves.

Maybe some may act as decent 'set it and forget it coins' where I can sell at the end of a weeks mining or using autosell? At the moment scrypt-ChaCha/Jane seem to be the best for that.

I think yac is the best for that, but securecoin might be close.

What was we suppossed to do to special to mine on Dwarf pool with Saffron Coin? -f?

This is my config for dwarf-pool:

Code:
./ccminer/ccminer -t 1 -d 0 -a myr-gr \
-q -f 256 -o stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3347 -u -p 1

The "-f 256" divides the difficulty by 256 to produce Shares.

My EVGA 750ti SC has been super stable. I've only had it for 3 weeks though.  I haven't had a crash on it in a while. I've only used it on the ccminer/cudaminer Scrypt, Heavy, Jackpot, Malj, & Quark algo's.  I'm running on win 7, 64bit, with settings of +89, +500. Card is installed directly on the PCI slot, I also use card to power the monitor and use that computer for doing MS Office documents and such.

When I'm mining with latest CCminer release (and all previous...) on my EVGA 750TI SC, its core frequency randomly drops to around 500Mhz, and nothing, except for a reboot, fixes this. It does this for every algo, after about half an hour. After that, I can't get any accepted going through. It's mining keccak flawlessly, so I'm leaving it at a MAX pool. But I love how its hashrate for, ea, quark is better than an R9 290 Tongue

EDIT: No problems at all for my gtx760, no other cards ATM (Gigabyte 750TI is in shipment Tongue )

I have a similar problem with my EVGA 750TI SC as well, but it only happens with quark as far as I've noticed - all of a sudden, low hash/clock, and no accepted shares.

I don't reboot though. If you're on windows, just go into device manager, disable, then re-enable that card. This reloads the drivers, and re-initializes the card. Should work for you as well.

Annoying as heck, though.

It means your overclock is too high. the 500MHz is some failsafe feature where the card goes after a crash

Mine does this even with stock clocks, and slightly underclocked. No problems with anything else, and can usually run +65/+300

Cudaminer supports scrypt, scrypt-n, scrypt-jane & keccak.
CCminer supports heavycoin, mjollnir, fugue256, groestl (and myriad-groestl), jackpotcoin & quark (and animecoin).

I hope they'll get combined into the same .exe one day Smiley

Seems I have a lot of coin profitability calculations to do that I missed out on. MNR, BitQuark, JackpotCoin? Anything else I miss guys or are some of these already as good as dead? Thanks. Will release my calculation charts when done.

on a riser or directly in a pcie slot ?
the "disabling"/"enabling" never worked for me...

Powered 1x16
may-be something with the card or the evga750ti sc line up, which would be strange though...

Mine are directly in a pcie slot.

I had the same with bitquark, but only the second card. The problem stopped, when I closed Evga Precision. Weird.
Maybe it would be an OC issue Sad Maybe both, just OC making it happen much quicker.
