Anyone hears about the new N-factor pandacoin ? The trading volumes is just amazing
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pandacoin-the-panda-coin-scrypt-adaptive-n-wkimotos-gravity-well-460037

Mining it on trademybit. Made .011 BTC in about 12 hours with 256kh pointed at it. Same settings as VTC which is nice.

Is this Panda coin more profitable than microcoin? What card do you use to get this 256khs?
Is it solo minable (I mean any chance to get one) ?

Throwing 830+380 kHash/s from 2 PCs at PandaCoin now (via panda.rocketpool.co.uk). Let's see how this plays out...

2.2) Buy top-of the line AMD GPU - would probably double my hashrate, but would leave my current NVidia useless - and somehow I've grown fond of the Nvdia and cudaminer :p

Why would it leave the NVidia useless?
There´s no problem combining amd and nvidia cards in one rig.
you just need to install both graphics drivers and run two different miners.
Or am i misinterpreting something here?
I've read mixed result on running both AMD and nvidia at the same time, and I'd like as little messing around and trouble as possible.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 and using 1 AMD card and 1 Nvidia. It is tedious to install, but after a few trials it worked. First I had the nvidia cards on the secondary slot. I  installed everything for CUDA , test that it works. NExt I put in the AMD card and installed the drivers and the the other needed packages. The xserver must brun on the AMD card. I run cgminer and cudaminer in the same time.

is this panda coin uses normal script  (or something else)  ?

N-Scrypt for ( PANDA ) , theres already an older coin named ( PAND ) which is standard Scyrpt some confusion, but that should help make it clear.

Hi, I got 2 Gigabyte GTX 760 4GB which I have been trying to config the Cudaminer and I am not getting a really good hash rate 77.19 mhs. I have been trying constantly with different combinations to get the hash rates up but had no luck. Please can someone help me with the config. I am pretty new at this I will much appreciate step-by-step guide. this is the string I am using at the moment.

cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -l K1125x32 -L 256 --url stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3339/ --user mdAWbKqtVrXPoizPVJ6Po7aEFAcvz4Pqim --pass 1

and I am mining the new maxcoin in windows 8.1

Thank you very much in advance.

The 3% does turn many off.. but its profitable to mine & sell, quite a bit infact. I know many that are very happy, with the return even after just a few days. Others hold & hope for more, & others dont mine for personal reasons. YMMV.

I'm staying away from that one because of the 3% pre-mine ipo thing. It sounds inconsequential but it's actually humongous.

You guys seem to be getting punk'd by the pool's VARDIFF. If the pool correctly computes payout, there is no monetary advantage in restarting the miner frequently. It just makes your share rate look better.
have a look at minersbest pool...

I have an issue that I'm wondering if anyone else experiences. When I launch cudaminer, I immediately see it submitting at an extremely fast rate. Within the first 50 seconds, I have roughly 400 submitted shares, with about a 98% accept rate. At around this point, things nearly halt, and fall off quickly, (within a very few seconds), to about 1 every 5-15 seconds or so. I have tried a bunch of things to remedy this, but have found nothing that seems to help at all. (Currently mining Max @ Hashfaster, but happens everywhere.)

If I close and re-start, it goes right back to the fast speed. I have literally sat and closed/re-started for over an hour, every 45 seconds to 1:15 seconds, and achieved (of course) a much larger return per hour, so I know it's actually reporting correctly.

I'm at a loss - setting a higher priority does nothing, though I had had high hopes for that. Different connection settings (net adapter) - nothing. Making sure nothing else is accessing the internet while the miner is running - nothing. Using GPU-Z and Precision to monitor the cards, and load and TDP are not dropping off, even though they are clearly slowing drastically, as far as output (ie, shares submitted).

If anyone has anything they could share, I would be most grateful!

Hardware:

2x GTX 660's (2GB) - +65 Core, stock mem. @ ~85000 khash/s
i5-3570K @ 4.2
16GB 1600 RAM

Try leaving GeForce Experience open or running Chrome browser. Keeps my hashrates up with keccak and I know other people have noticed the same thing.

I don't have Experience, but I do leave a flash page running, as it definitely increases my hashrate - ~65000kh without, ~85000 with. But it's not the hashrate falling off - it still reports 85000, but the submits are are actually falling off to 1 every 5-15 seconds (or worse). It's really got me... frazzled.  Huh

Was reading a review on guru3D, they seems to say that there is nothing revolutionary in the 750ti (or 750)

Super low tdp for such perf levels...IF they come out with a 4gb version I'd be all over it (if it comes with that arm chip and compute 3.5-4)
