I got nowhere with CGMiner and my HD5870 until I specified the worksize ( -w 128 ) in the batch file, thereby wasting a lot of mining time whilst the difficulty was much lower than it is now. (CGminer crashing and rejected shares for a variety of different reasons). Fortunately I'd managed to get Cudaminer running well on my other computer so the day wasn't totally wasted.

The current value is much lower than that. The 0.028 thing has been stuck in the screen forever but no transaction will go for that price.
A more accurate way to check the current price is to check the most recent transactions.

I have gtx 680 but only getting 110,000, still can't get it any higher... With current difficulty 4 coins per 7 hours is pretty good. What settings you use?

What kind of payouts are people getting. In the last 7 hours I have only gotten 4 MAX. I am mining with a GTX680 at 150m/hs on thesmalltimeminer. Does this sound right? I though that I would be getting more.

if i just add the stratum with keccak i get stratum authentication failed

To add to the slower the gpus run the better it does with pools, when I run K1000x16 I get about 10% higher acceptances vs K1000x24

That's kind of what I've been seeing. My GTX 780's normally get 160 mh/s while the 780 Ti get 260 Mh/s. The 780's get about 75% acceptance rate while the Ti gets closer to 50% - 60%.

I've clocked them down almost to their default superclock boost speeds to see if indeed I'm getting better acceptance rates. I think it has to do with Cudaminer and it's implementation with these GK110 cards. 25% to 50% reject rates are awfully high Sad

im managing to get 325 khash and 90 khash in scrypt.
110 Mhash and 40 Mhash in Keccak.

Ive only been mining for a couple weeks and its been alot of fun.

i might relearn the compiling stuff because of you as well he he.

My fastest worker gets 95% shares on max.netcodepool.org but some slower workers just 60% shares. So bad that I never seen in my life. I stop mining with this pool. max.hashfaster.com is better for me.

Btw the price drops as I predicted. My prediction for this madness in next two days:
- Price drops to 0.001
- Diff goes up to 100k.

By then mining Maxcoin will be the same profitable as another altcoins.

Just my 2 cents. Grin

The one thing separating this alt from others is that its being hyped up Kesier though... he's BTC rich, could easily buy up the orderbook to 0.05 for publicity's sake. It went from 0.007 to 0.04 on MCXnow in a matter of minutes the night this was released so could happen again. Who knows. Already made quite a bit from mining so I'll hold onto some of it.

Yep he's master of hype. Of course some people get rich quick that means some people lose money. But I don't feel bad for people who buy my Maxcoin sell order at 0.04 anymore. Maybe 1 year later they laugh at me and show that shit will worth 1 BTC Cheesy
