Yes, you are correct, this is derivative. GCNs act as a contract for cryptocurrency liquidity. Institutional investors don't have access to crypto market because of lack fo regulation and hard restrictions from SEC. This allows them to get derivatives that should be completely compliant with all laws.

everyone think this crypto will coming on exchange at the price of 250$us ?? on what exchange this crypto is suppose to come ? i never see ico expensive like this.... 0.6 eth for 1 token wtf...
Dude read the whitepaper and understand the concept first, this is not your average few cent token, it have it function and why it it expensive.
And you can see it with an amount of raised funds only through closed rounds - 43k ETH.
