I think what's being scanned here is the website which may contain malicious javascript and not the file. Please download the file and upload it to virustotal. Post your screenshot again.

I downloaded the exe and uploaded it to virusscantotal. And thats what I got.

Was supposed to be instruction for Truckman but I clicked wrong.

Everytime the same with you guys. Just open the DASH topic and look how members talked about it in the beginning. A developer is a guy in a dark room with his computer struggling with codes. He's not a babysitter. A developer has to solve problems inside the code and is not the community manager. A day has only 24 hours and does anyone of you know anything about him? If he's a father or has besides this project a full-time job?

Every coin has problems in an early stage and every coin needs the support of its community. Every developer wants to code not to talk with people asking questions about problems he already knows and maybe is trying to solve already. To make stress doesn't make it better. To write such a bullshit on the website is more than stupid and makes more problems the developer could ever create. When he would quit the project now. I would totally understand it and I know what I'm talking about because I paid for developers and the best ones are the silent ones. THe best developers even don't like people at all. They love to code guys.

Look on DASH. No one of you could buy a DASH Masternode for 188000 dollar today. What he tries here is not easy and the best he can do is to answer no questions and focus 100% on development. Most of you suffering to install Masternode and that is bad but the developer is a developer not a first level supporter. Maybe someone of you wants to fill the position of the First-Level-Supporter, is still free.

The only guy who doesn't do his job is the Webmaster of DAS Website. Shut it down and don't attack the developer that he's a silent developer. A good developer doesn't answer messages. That's why he's good. MAIDSAFE, XEM, RDD are only three examples of silent developers doing great work.

In everything you do in life, you have good and bad phases. Get this in your mind and put the website online or shut it completely down.

Keep up the good work my friend. Just code...

The most stupid comment I've read today: "I paid for developers and the best ones are the silent ones."

Go to the XVG or verge bitcointalk and come back and say the same thing. They only have 1 main developer, who updates the community like everyday (go check it). Keep this in mind, the developer of verge has over 20 years experience in block-chain tech and still has time to chat with the community and release tons of wallet with no issue.

So please, quit with that BS talk.

I"ll probably get shit for posting this, but whatever.

I appreciated what the community in the Slack did for me.  They tried hard to help me get my MN's up and running.  Problems were fixed by them.  I saw the amount of time and energy they put in to Das.  I was thinking that even with the dev being largely absent, things could still get done.  But . . . there were too many variables that I, as a serious investor, could not justify holding on to the coin.

I won't spell them out again here.  And the thing is, everything people are saying could be incorrect.  There might not be any funny business going on with the code.  But is it worth it for me to stick around and find out?  Or protect my other investments, trades, security, etc . . .  The dev might have been sick or something the last couple weeks. Maybe there is a good reason why the rich list is . . well, just check it out.  The bug in the code?  A messed up Windows wallet?  Well, maybe those thing could have been fixed.  I believe they could have.

But with these glaring issues, I saw no communication from the dev.  Then the website went down like a big FU from the community to the dev, a way to push him into the light . . . sure, the project could end up being successful.  Crypto is risky . . yea, yea, all that stuff.  But imo, it was just too much.  I jumped out of the coin.

Now, I sincerely hope that this project is a success.  And for the guys in the Slack, if you ever decide to create your own coin, I'd be a supporter all the way.  They were great.  If it weren't for them, a lot of the people who have held onto Das, would've already sold.

Good luck to the dev and the community.  I wish you the best.  If things get turned around, I'd be happy to buy some more coins.

Damn, I guess I did spell them out  Grin

As for the site, initially I dumbed the concept of DAS expected page on the github, the award is still open. What other users have done, I mean the development of the site, it's solely their initiative.
But it was a good initiative, don't you think? Or it went apart with your vision of DAS conception?
And like people said above you shoud be more be active in thread and take your initiative if you don't like the others.

Anyone knows how to compile from source here?

https://github.com/Truckman83/DAS-source/releases/tag/DAS-v0.12.2

Let's see if the output still has a virus.

The exe file was flagged. . . that's enough for me.

Yep, but if the virus did not show on recompile then it must be one of the below scenario:

1. Dev's compiler inserted the malware
2. The dev inserted a malware code right before compiling but did not commit it on github.

What is this shit?

Yea, I think you are right. . . wallet has malware if that's the case.

Really strange. Baidu, trendmicro and VBA finding it and no one else? I am suspicious It is really an issue
