What version of the wallet were you running as well? You may want to wipe your machine entirely before adding new wallets or passwords.
I was using the latest version 3.3.7
1- I did a full scan on my computer using Kaspersky internet security
2- I changed my windows login password
3- I installed the latest Denarius wallet and created a new Denarius address
4- I bought 985 D and transfer them to my wallet
5- I encrypted the wallet with a very strong password
6- I took a backup of the wallet
7- I unlocked the wallet only for staking

This is your fault, that I guessed you did.Additionally, you should have at least two-layer protective method.
You should set up strong passwords not only for your wallets, but also for your computer.
