All I did was deposit money, then cancel my deposit. So far you have been ignoring all my messages.
You did an error, as deposits where the NXT was already sent could not be easily cancelled. In addition:

- you did not send us a standard support ticket from the DGEX site
- you screamed over forums with several posts all over the place, negative attitude and inappropriate questions that caused more work, thus dropping you to the back of the processing queue.

Your deposit has now been refunded (deducted with the 1 NXT transaction fee). I hope you are satisfied with the resolution, and regret it took unacceptably long to resolve under the circumstances that demanded prioritization necessarily delaying some cases this long. Thank you.

Got two brand new bonus questions for you Graviton, after you have (hopefully) answered my other basic questions about how your exchange is supposed to operate (see my first post in this topic).

Bonus question 1: On the front page of your exchange, DGEX, it says "Professionals you can trust". Now, would you trust a site which owner does not reply to any of your PM, email or forum messages and who has not given you back any money for a canceled deposit for 17+ days? Would you think such an owner is being professional to you as a paying customer? Just curious.

Bonus question 2: Your front page also states the following: "Our afforable trading fees do not set you back, and instant withdrawals grant you full control of your funds at any time 24/7.". Similar to the above question, how can you motivate this text when you have a customer locked out of his assets for 17+ days without any kind of explanation or response?

Thank you in advance for answering my questions. I'm sure you want to set the record straight and pay me back my money so everyone knows you're a good guy.

Hello Admin of Dgex. It really fucks me off that you don't have a possibility to transfer Nxt from Dgex to Dgex.
I've written you a message which you are ignoring. I please you to proceed my transaction.

So if an exchange accepts an insecure currency, then it is their responsibility to secure it or not exchange it at all.
Our terms state the opposite. So, if you agree to them, it is YOUR responsibility to take the risk or not exchange at all. We do not use lies to take responsibilities that no business is capable of fulfilling.

You see, if an exchange goes bankrupt, and they promised to cover your losses but cannot do it, are you happier then? Wakey wakey  Shocked
Lol, that's funny. Cheesy The law doesn't care about terms if they are against the law. Have you had a lawyer look into it? Did you deposit these terms anywhere, signed by a chamber of commerce/notary?

In most countries, when someone does a deposit of a currency or trust you with a good, you(in this case the exchange) do not become the owner of the items but are responsible for these items. When something happens, you(or your insurance) are accountable for the loss.

There have been several cases in the past where people/companies were sued and convicted because their exchange/coin storage was hacked or they run away with the coins.

Hi Graviton. Hopefully you will be able to answer some very basic questions about DGEX.com. These questions were previously asked over at your forums in a topic I made. I got no answers and after some days my topic was deleted and my account was severely restricted and warned.

I bet most people here would appreciate some straight answers.

Question 1: What is supposed to happen when you cancel a deposit on DGEX? Please explain the "steps" of a successful cancellation.

Question 2: You have written:
"Cancel button is meant for people who have sent a wrong amount or have not sent NXT at all.
I expect some cases to take up to 2-3 weeks to be resolved, unfortunately."

Now, do you understand how some people (like me) will misunderstand the usage of this button? When I used it my thought was "I changed my mind about this deposit. I cannot return the money to my NXT account since the deposit is still pending and I don't have them yet on my DGEX account. But there is this button called cancel right next to my transaction. So I will use this to cancel my deposit and get back my NXT pretty soon. This will likely save me a lot of time and hassle."

If you do understand this way of thinking, what do you plan to do about it to prevent people from misunderstanding the meaning of the button in the future? And do you agree this kind of scenario is not in any way the customer's fault?

Question 3: If you think above problem is the customers fault, explain to me why. If you think it is not the customer's fault, do you have any plans to make up for it? After all, in my case for example, you have currently been able to forge new NXT with my close to 10,000 NXT for 15 days. So you have actually earned NXT with help of NXT that isn't even yours to begin with. Do you plan on giving me some of these NXT after giving me back my 9000+? Or will there only be a "sorry"?

Question 4: When you cancel a deposit, then don't get any of it back, but the transaction to DGEX has been confirmed over 5000 times...what is happening that takes so much time (in my case currently over two weeks)? You have previously mentioned NXT can get "jammed". What does this mean? Are you talking about a fault in NXT or a fault inside your own system (technical or other)? Please explain.

Question 5: Do you understand how some people (me included) might have gotten upset with you highering fees for withdrawals ON ALREADY DEPOSITED NXT on top of all this...on release day? Do you think this move benefited your customers and the NXT network?

Question 6: Curious, why are only a few pages on the website re-designed? Why do the trading pages still have the old layout? Since these are arguably the "core" of the site, they should be very high priority, right?

Thanks in advance.

Cryptotalk.org - Get paid for every post!
Sending funds to ones account is actually unconditionally transferring complete ownership
of those funds to dgex?  it is not really so hard to see why that concerns/offends
Yes. If you are not fine with that theoretical phrase, do not do business with DGEX. You have a free choice. It seems though that your point is a negative agenda against DGEX, but you seem to have hard time getting it through coherently.

Crypto business is like that. There is nothing else than our terms guaranteeing us from being held responsible for NXT network failures, potential hacking cases, whatever that this extremely risky business field may bring. If the NXT network fails and takes your NXT on DGEX, or if a hacker succeeds to steal the 75M NXT storage, no we will not pay you out. Anyone claiming that they would, lies.

When I say account holders' money belongs to them, I am not lying. I am morally cultivated and know what is right and what is wrong, and act according to that. However, if we lose account holder's money and are unable to compensate, it naturally becomes account holder's loss. Being  unable means it is impossible. The terms state it clearly and on your face. If you are not fine with that, I suggest you seek an NXT exchange using nicer poetry to lure customers without any more real guarantees than what DGEX offers.

The T.O.S. is not theoretical. It is the word that will be taken as legitimate in the eyes of the law and is the contractual expectation when signing up for a dgex account. It is also the basis for which the expectation of your handling of future matters is based. Otherwise why have it? What is theoretical is your "promise" or any other statements you make that contradicts the T.O.S.

This is indeed weird.   When you transfer coin to any crypto exchange... the coin resides in their wallet and not yours.   So if the crypt pexchange gets hacked,  then it is their responsibility to compensate.   Now if your account on the crypto-exchange was hacked because of your own negligence... well then in this world.... it is your responsibility.

So if an exchange accepts an insecure currency, then it is their responsibility to secure it or not exchange it at all.

Dgex has frozen my deposit for 364k nxt

Has this happened to anyone else? I am freaking out because its alot of BTC worth and they are saying something about fraud on their account.

I hope I get it back!

Can't say I've had it happen to me. GCInc has always been responsive for me - I'd be surprised if it doesn't get sorted out.

I got my NXT back but paid a tax.

Quoting policy should not cause irritation, they are not my words.

While your statement:

"All genuine funds with no fraud belong to the account holders"

is certainly what one would expect, it directly contradicts the terms which must
be agreed to before using the service - they clearly state that the funds are
the property of dgex.com.  Since the terms take precedence over any comments here,
your statement is not true.

I have no agenda, own no nxt, am not employed by, have ownership of, or interest
in any competing entity, nor do I have intention of any of these in the future. I
do on the other hand care about people (even unknown to me) who lose, or fear losing
their assets.

Sending funds to ones account is actually unconditionally transferring complete ownership
of those funds to dgex?  it is not really so hard to see why that concerns/offends
