Thanks!

Hey, whenever I click on 'transactions' the app crashes.  Any thoughts?

maybe more people with a mac can test the wallet

our problem is no one in team have a mac
and so we cant verify or test a mac wallet

Its definitely buggy. Crashing all the time and still orphaning blocks.

How much longer will BitTrex be in DMD wallet maintenance mode? It's been at least a day or two now, hasn't it?

edit: back up now Smiley

advertising company DMD will exclusively after the release of wallet 3.0?
almost at the end of the year?

first of all we go through activation of DMD 2.1 changes the next few days

once this is over we will start the private reaktor promotion event which will run a few weeks

30x 1  1000 DMD capacity keys will be available to claim in a nice competition

meanwhile we working on DMD 3.0

and maybe we able release some more infos about it in like 2-3 months

a expected release will be end of year

in this roadmap a possible moment suited for a promotion round
would be when we first time release more details about DMD 3.0

but if community wants we can also start another round of gather contribution for a paid promotion

but i have to say the last one did not show lot effect i would save effort for the real news and DMD 3.0

this is not the case
u will find a lot small owner of dmd
who will confirm they regulary stake

and fortuna is blind

if ya own many coins or not
the chance that a 100 dmd pile find a pos block is the same for all

that u did orphan 3 pos blocks in a row was maybe just bad luck too

Ill wait till the 16th.  It is 6 orphaned blocked now...

Is there a new Mac wallet available?  Perhaps I downloaded something incompatible.  My wallet says 2.0.5.5,  I am not quite up to compiling my own.

There is a new Mac wallet 2.1.0.1 available, but will add it to the release files once I'm back. It seems the new nodes started disconnecting the old ones already which night be the source of your problems. You might want to try the newest wallet to see if this improves things.

I am new to diamond, I loaded the latest mac wallet, and bought a few hundred off of Bittrex. The wallet has tried to stake 4 times now, and each time the blocks get orphaned. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?  Thanks in advance.

i suggest u wait until 16th

then u check if ur wallet is sync with the same blocknumber as chainz

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/

if yes

then u go into help -> debug -> console
and enter the command

checkwallet

if there are errors visible

the command,

repairwallet

if chain is on correct block
and checkwallet show no troubles u should be able to stake

if u have a diamond.conf

u can try rename that one

and start wallet again (without a conf)

this way we can make sure not some wrong conf entry is the reason

I know you said to wait till the 16th, I checked now and am on the same block if that means anything. I can check also after the 16th.  No errors in the wallet I did the check and repair, both revealed nothing wrong.  I never did setup a conf file as I seem to not have any issues with nodes. Kind of a mystery.

Lol not much of a mystery have you watched the blocks?  the super wallets they sold mixed with the reactor and such. basically throws all the little guys under the bus. your blocks are getting orphaned as too many others are staking non stop. i stated the prob with this months ago so have other users they just nuke it, brush it off. o well, thats what u get.   this coin is a personal profit engine for those rich enough to get in. that is all

Common dude, don't you have something else to do than walk in every forum and attack people? You're a complete joke to this forum https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/alescamhole-803508
But what can I say about a guy who thinks Ethereum is a scam: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/alescamhole-803508
I bet you think any coin is a scam... because you're too smart to do something else than waist your time posting rubbish.

I'm afraid you're ignorant as to how staking works actually (and the reactor or the "super wallets" which are not even active yet) and somehow securing the network 24/7 is now seen as something negative (even though it's a pillar of keeping everyone's funds safe). Take a grip.

If that is the case, I am disappointed.  I had thought I had found a real nice coin.  Bummer.

that 50% of total blocks are on average POS blocks is perfectly as designed

Looks like POS "steal" half of bloks

?

with 100 sec POS blocktime and 100 sec POW blocktime

no one steal anything from each other

they run on different difficulty engines and dont interact with each other

so no blocks can be stolen......

that 50% of total blocks are on average POS blocks is perfectly as designed
