not good if a pool fix the wallet and keep the patch secret.

investissors dont like coin with 51%+, and solominers will get tons of orphans....

Please don't step down.. we are on a verge of a working pool. Mindlessly wasting hash is not needed, come back this weekend to see what's happening.

Waste of hash.

Also the "best" thing would be for the dev's to just fix this issue.  It's been what, 2 weeks now.  Your coin is going to get bypassed by new coins.  The ones who have mined it are losing faith in you rapidly, and no amount of witty pictures will solve that.

Even Cryptsy can't be bothered to do simple items like upload your new wallet and fix it.  Because they are reviewing YOUR interactions and see that yes, maybe you can post items on the ANN thread, but you carry no ability to take care of this coin beyond that.

Sorry guys.  The coin market is flooded as is, and no amount of PR spin will make up for the fact you can't even fix pools, which are core to the survival of any coin believe it or not.  Yes solomining is good.  But the masses dont want this. They want to see it on pools, compare it against other coins.  If you keep your coin in the closet, that's where it will stay.

Since your's appears to be working & getting accepted shares, are there any other miners out there to point some hashing at the pool to test with more hash power?

Please point it at the pool if you have spare working groestl miners as I'd like to see what the results are with more miners.

I just connected to it now and already got 40 accepts. Keeping it there to see what happens next.

any out of the box pool cant get blocks accepted by wallet at the moment
dont waste hashingpower on it

share accepts from miner towards pool did every pool archive

but once u find a block it will get rejected by wallet

only heavy modified stratum or oldstyle getwork based pools are possible at the moment

and none of this is running at the moment afaik

solomining is working failurefree

i strongly suggest if u wana mine diamonds do it solo

or mine other coins and buy diamonds on market

until cryptsy fix theirs u can use the https://sharexcoin.com/market/DMD_BTC

Test rig is using 4x 280x GPU's.

Running both test usb sticks Debian 7 64bit & CentOS 6 64bit.

Both show the same results.

Scrypt ect.. all work no problem.

X11 seems to give me some issues as well.

Running ATI Drivers 13.12

Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest than if your unable to solo mine diamond you should be mining some other coin right now. I am sure the Devs or someone will get pool mining working at some point. Getting upset about something you can't do anything about is pointless.

I cannot mine diamond while I am awake. I can't let it run that long without messing with it.

What problems are you having? I've been very solid for days.

No Problems I get around four diamonds a night. I just can't mine one coin all day long unless it's easy and worth something.

Interesting. So you are getting accepts.

I was not able to get sph-sgminer to work correctly with my test mining rig.

Looks like you're still generating accepted shares.

if you would like? I could help you with the settings  as it surly is a simple issue.
give me the entire set up of your testing rig and I will give you everything to get her rocking!
if not that is very understandable. and I will always be at your disposal

I have a test pool setup. It's odd as I'm showing 8230 valid shares. I'm curious who was hashing that. I'm only able to get rejects with my testing.

http://pool.kryptochaos.com

If someone has some spare hash to test..

is that working for you?
I can leave it there if you really need it?
the shares are accepted just fine! im actually running at 100%
who knows right? this just might be the "5th element"
BTW------ she was SMOKING HOT in that movie! and they should use that movie for Drivers ED classes

i did think too it fits

i think i archive the "explains" status most times

the thing now is we did explain it all already and there is no status change what people expect from us?

tell them the same story again?

here we go:

Hello Community,

I want to update everyone on the progress of things and I'm honest as always just like each team member of Diamond Coin.

I don't want it to be another apologetic message but a frank assessment.

As everyone knows the Block Chain went down last Wednesday (for us it was). As we were working on a new client client for quite some time we thought it would make more sense to release it then and there rather to use hardfork fix on the old wallet and do another hardfork soon after to switch it to Groestl algorithm.

The whole sudden situation caught us with our pants down, but we were convinced everything would work, because it worked in the lab, unfortunately as it turned out soon after it failed in the field.

Some people here accused us of not doing enough testing and, yes we didn't do enough because of the crazy short time frame we had to stick to to deliver a working client for Cryptsy. It was ready by Friday, unfortunately the problem with the database forced us to concentrate on making a patch. After that it turned out that mining pools on stratum do not accept blocks. We had a bit of lax day on Sunday just to have a bit of breathing space as most of us have slept for 4-2h per night over the previous several days. On Monday after talking directly with the pool owners we switched our focus to the code and started analysing its behaviour. We have identified possible sources of problems and now we are rebuilding the code to make it work as it was intended to work form the start. We have our own stratum server and can test any changes confirming it plays nicely so we could be 100% sure we wouldn't see any unpleasant surprises next time.

We have made some changes in the dev team setup which is more optimal and allows for better quality testing. We all agreed that this release in no way meets our quality expectations and to overcome this we decided that we won't limit ourselves with fixed deadlines - we will deliver product that is 100% working with stratum and everything else.

The network is stable now, solo mining is working correctly, coins are transferable, I suspect there would be no problem with setting up working non-stratum 'getwork' mining pool (for the time being), Cryptsy is notified and should be working on implementing the new wallet this week.

I sincerely believe that you as community should not be worried at all, but trust us to put it right. We are working really hard and we won't stop until it's properly done.

Regards,
Alex
