Legitimate question though, how does one create an asset now that I have XDP? Keep in mind I have no programming knowledge.

I've never been this excited about burning something since I burned an ant with a magnifying glass when I was 7

Next time burn them with combustible lemons!

Hi,

When i'm trying to send som Degecoin from my BTER account to the testnet wallet address, i received a request error that my testnet wallet address is invalid Dogecoin address.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Why bother with testnet, and testnet has a different blockchain.
You should not try to send your normal doge to testnet as it won't work.

Tnx! I just saw that the online wallet is alive

You shouldn't be sending real doges to a testnet address. Send them to a real dogeparty address.

OK, Something is really broken for me http://i.imgur.com/yYhmnhr.png please advise.
The fees are 7 doge.

That should be added to that page, I never saw anything about that on the main site, just the for every 1000 you burn you get 1 XDP, is it 7 doge per XDP or per burn?

Edit: went back and looked at the getting started on http://www.dogeparty.io/ again, no fee mention, where is this information at?

Second edit: Oh derp, I think I get it now, I was thinking it just burned in the online wallet itself, if it gets transferred again I need those fees. That could use some clarification.

No anonymity? One of the few new coins which doesn't claim to be anon.
It's not a new coin,
It can not be anon unless Dogecoin becomes anon.

I already issued an asset named XDOGE but I want to send back 1 XDOGE to the sender for every 9 DOGE they send, and do it automatically.
I know PHP and I have a vps so if I knew how I could probably code a vendor and put it to work.

I will send this to Jeremy Lam

Is vennd.io going to support Dogeparty?  I'm patiently waiting for their open source release.

Trying to copy paste the address in the online wallet just drags it around, that is highly annoying. - Edit: Just clicking it auto selected it, I tried to highlight it.

Edit: Question: If I send exactly 1000 doge, and it's 998 after a network fee will that still work, or do I need to bump it to 1002 doge so 1000 arrives?

Sorry Langly, this is very new software.

Yes, you'll need to bump it to 1002.

I see the new wallet adds the fees after the sending amount, didn't used to do that, been a while since I sent doge. Now I've run into a little bug, I got exactly 2000 sent there and http://i.imgur.com/tFwpyhc.png Try to burn 2000 and it says it exceeds my available balance, but I have exactly 2000. I might just have to send 1 doge to fix that. I can't burn due to that bug.

Do you want to setup a vending machine, or just create a new asset?

When will the decentralised exchange be implemented?

Not yet, but this also very much depends on how much demand there is. A market w/o liquidity is pretty bad.. Wink
[8/13/14 12:58:50 PM] Pete Moss: true that, i respect the decision to leave it disabled right now for the burn initiation

Perhaps the question on decentralized exchange was more related to client software. Going to a website to trade is not exactly decentralized. Is such software planned so users can download and trade from their own computers with such software hooked to the dogecoin blockchain running on the same computer? I believe Counterparty has a GUI wallet. Or is Dogeparty going to be all website based?
