We announce this precaution to avoid wrong deposits of a digital asset.
Frequent mistakes
- Some currency symbols are almost alike. Make sure that you referenced the correct deposit currency. For example, in Bitcoin(BTC) and Bitcoin Gold(BTG), the spelling and address type look similar, and there could a high chance of a wrong deposit.
- A deposit can be omitted if it is from an old address after being hard-forked and changed to a new address type. Check whether the deposit is available before you deposit a currency.
- Check full address is correct, especially the front and at the end of it. If you copied it from an attacked device that has clipboard hijacking types of malicious codes, it can change address when you copy and paste.
- Make sure your transactions are in the same network for deposit and withdrawal. It might take some time or be unable to retrieve it if a transaction used a different network for deposit.

*Unlisted or delisted deposit will be returned to another exchange or wallet via the same type of network.
*It may not be recovered if an issue occurs network itself.
*We don’t charge for retrieving deposits, but you may need to pay for it in the future as networks and currencies get diversifying.
