Questions:
- Why GPU0 has PCI 1.0?

It's in fact the hardware ID of your PCI slot they're numbered like this. slot 1 is 1:0, slot 2 is 2:0, you probably jumped one slot to make the card fit on the motherboard.

It depends on the motherboard - some SKIP PCI-E slot ID numbers when assigning them to certain slots even if you're using all of the slots.

There's also a well-known issue where the DRIVER doesn't always assign the "id number" of the card in the same order as the PCI-E identifiers - both in Windows AND in LINUX - that affects all multi-GPU miners I've worked with, a couple even have gone so far as to come up with a "work-around" to MAKE the displayed miner numbers line up.

Hi. Thx for the miner.

Small suggestion about API: can you please add GPU model to JSON-RPC responce? Thx!

Thx for helping m1n1ngP4d4w4n.
In addition to this: every change on the solver side (like in 0.5.6) may slightly change the optimal overclocking point, especially the optimal balance between core and memory clocks.

hello i previesly used EWBF and now i started using dstm's mining. Where i can see how much shares in total is accepted like in EWBF?

And is this normal for Asus Strix GTX 1080 Ti 85%TDP +100 +300 and Asus Dual GTX 1060 85%TDP  +155 +700

And what that "1"at end mean?

The total amount of accepted and rejected shares are accessible via the webui or by json-rpc. The '1' at the and denotes the ratio of accepted shares. Be aware that the numbers are rounded down - so a value of 0.99 may actually be something like 0.9999.. i.e. 99.9999...%.

@dstm thank you for the great tool!

Questions:
- Why GPU0 has PCI 1.0?
- Earlier this day, before some BIOS tweaks my GPU0 would have around 120 Sol/W. Curious whether this could be caused by PCI 1.0?

PCI x:y denotes the pci-busid and the pci-deviceid of the GPUs.

For people who are asking about dev fee. I'm understanding ofc your interest in having it as low as possible - however it's not very different in comparison to other mining software, I'm not planning to change it - in either direction. All the numbers reported by zm are exact including the amount of dev shares ofc - zm doesn't try to make things look better than they are.

how to add option to Ethos globalminer --telemetry=0.0.0.0:2222 ? is it any way to get api control in ethos for your miner?

Could you pls explain in more detail how 'api control' works in ethos? I'm not aware of it.

Hi DTSM,

Back with a report for you.

0.5.4: Unstable but worked at least 6-8h before an error. Lost 20 Sol/s each on my 1080ti's.
0.5.5: Instant crash between 5 seconds and 30mins. Lost over 80 Sol/s each on my 1080ti's. Very unstable and not worth using (could be the windows update causing problems).

0.5.6: Sol/s is back up running 725-740! (Like before). Vey low temperature again and no errors, no cuda problems, very stable and everything is working fine again.

Summary: I don't know what you did but everything is working fine for me again. Thank you DTSM. More efficiency on  1080ti's would be lovely. Keep you the good work!

Thanks dev, for the recent updates. My friend running linux says it's more stable for him now. I never had any issue with this running on win 10. It's about the same speed as EWBF for me though, so I hope you consider lowering the fees even a half percent to stay ahead.
Anyone using nicehash legacy should comment on their github issue requesting this miner be added. I can't post url due to by super-noob status, just google "Add dstm’s ZCash Nvidia Miner #445" and you'll find the page.

Good improvement on stability and a few more sols/s, Cpu load also dropped quite a bit, good work dtsm.

Need to test for a while longer, but seems to be good improvements on latest, especially stability.
Hi! Can u type EVGA 1070's core and memory clocks from Afterburner. I've never seen 110W @ 470sol. Maybe u have Samsung memory. My cards run ~480sol @ ~135W (CC 1936-1987, memory 8600)

Ok...I have confirmed that it IS actually faster.  Between 8%-14%.

Seems to actually be worth it.

The new version is working great after reworking my overclock. The oc I had been using with previous versions was causing the miner to crash. Reducing the oc managed to keep about the same rate while slightly increasing efficiency from about 3.3 Sol/W to about 3.5.

Code:
ID DEVICE NAME °C ∅ Sol/s ∅ Sol/W ∅ Watt
0 GeForce GTX 1070 55 498.70 3.53 141.56

Keep up the good work.  Grin

I have to apologize and eat my words....it appears my problem with Invalid Solution was a hardware/overclock issue.

So...now I just need to determine if DSTM is actually any faster.  Since I have both the client and the pool side, I will be able to check and see if it really is better or not.  I will let you know.

You do realise you have to pay 2% for this miner, when EWBF is free is you have the no fee option, you dont lose any speed either.

ewbf was more unstable for my rig. Needed acrefawn's autorestart program to reset the miner every 2 hours to keep mining.
I like dstm as he is active and I show him my support. The very recent update covers more than his 2% fee in performance so Im not going to worry about it.
