dstm, have you been asked for adding date and time stamp? It must be in to analyze some problems. For example, you miner just stopped with an error and I've no idea when it was happened.

Thank you.

Andrey09,
Please add autorestart option in the miner if error appear or miner detect what current value hash rate seriously fell from the avarage hash rate value. Try to restart the miner 10 times, if the work does not resume displaying the message, that an error is detected - check your equipment.
Well, it's no too hard to add this by yourself on your own side. Or do you want to tell that something like that is realized in EWFB version? Wink

@dstm: First of all thanks for your hard work.

Secondly, your miner started erroring out after a few hours please see below. Any ideas?
https://pasteboard.co/GQ46rCZ.png

I have the same problem on all rigs, after 8-24 hours ;( I do not believe that on all 14 computers with 4-8 video cards there is a problem with overclocking.
rcv error.

Or turn off the thread of the problematic video card from miner. And to display the message that the video card number XX is not stable, perhaps you need to reduce overclocking or check the card.

Overlocked gpus, all 14 rigs stop work in differebt time, from 8 to 48 hours.
On EWBF stable work 20 days. +-

Tnx for your work.

Is there a recommended NVIDIA driver version for the Windows release?

Also: here, take my dev fee. Thanks for facilitating the fastest, most power-efficient Equihash miner currently available. Most people are reporting 4-8% increase over ewbf, who is completely inactive at the moment (probably picking out his fifth lambo) so if you're shaving a couple % off the top while we're all better off, then hey. Enjoy the dev fee.

On linux: 375.66, 384.90, 387.12 perform equal.
I had no time to test this on windows yet.

Is there currently an option to remove the fee?

These closed-source miners with built-in fees go against everything crypto is for.

No there isn't.

I miss when crypto was about decentralisation.

Maybe, this could help someone.  This service took more than 50% of my CPU (microsoft software protection platform service)  and this was the cause of ZM crashing I think.

Now everything is stable and I get more SOLs after disabling it like in this manual >>> http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-3259400/microsoft-software-protection-platform-service-high-cpu.html

"Just found out how to resolve this very annoying issue:
Open regedit,
go to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sppsvc
Modify "Start" from "whatever number is here" to 4
This will disable the service after you restart.
No more CPU wastage"

Is this service something important, will I have problems after disabling it ? Thanks

That's interesting because I noticed the SAME EXACT THING with this Microsoft software protection service when I ran zm. I went back to ewbf.

There is no dns entry for 'eu1.zcash-flypool.org'
Try 'eu1-zcash.flypool.org'

induktor,
card: 1 x1080 Ti
...
Hash rate at top efficiency: 600 Sols average  (15 Sols more than EWBF miner)
...
Is it a joke or a mistake? 1080Ti should give u from 750 to 790 sol (in OC mode) and from 695 to 750 (in non-OC mode) on EWFB. What 600 Sol/s are u talking about, man?

Top eficiency means, maximum hashrate at the lowest possible power usage (hash/Watts)
unless you don't pay for electricity, i pay a fortune for power, so i keep my miners at top efficiency all the time to get maximum profit.

At least so far is what i got, still have to test other drivers/miners, but everything so far points to 600 Sols at 140 watts (155 at the wall)

I agree with efficiency being a huge factor specially when power is expensive. That being said, how’d you manage a 1080Ti to pull only 140W? Can’t go below 200W on my strix oc’s..
Driver 384 will do it, 381 and earlier has some weird issues with the power target limit.

alright, its been a while since i last updated the drivers. thanks a lot for the information.

You are not supposed to do that.... Perhaps you won't be able to open.... Outlook and word and other Microsoft Office programs... just check their license.

Those are mining machines, so great Tongue No word, no outlook here Cheesy I GOT 100 MORE   sols per rig after disabling this shit Cheesy

worked. Got stable 735-750 Sol/s with 80% powerlimit Smiley

I'm struggling to get this working on a few rigs, I can't install MS visual studio 2015 redist as it throws me a 'unspecified error' when installing... I've read I need to allow Windows (I use W10 x64) to auto update etc but I refuse to allow W10 to do as it pleases because it just takes the piss and does as it wants lol

Is there anywhere I can download just the .DLL files from the ms visual studio 2015 redist that are missing to get this running?

Cheers
