Why is dusk breaking bad?

As I see, Dusk is breaking bad. Is it for good, we will find out it very soon. Anyways, their enthusiasm makes me anxious...

Thx for this article, it contained all what i needed to understand what a STO means.
Before I read it, I had only a vague idea what exactly it is.

STO is going to be bigger thing as we enter into 2019.  Best use case can possibly happen in blockchain tech.  DUSK is poised to be succeed with privacy and security built from scratch in platform.

Dusk in the real world?

The past few weeks we have been all over Europe to meet partners and contributors to the Dusk Network. Whilst being abroad we took the opportunity to speak at a selection of very interesting events!

Leaving a trace
Amsterdam: We have presented at Bitcoin Wednesday in Amsterdam. The oldest Crypto meetup in the Netherlands. Jelle Pol our Head of Business Dev. did a 30 minute presentation on Dusk including Q&A. Full video from the event is available here!



London: We spoke at the Certified Financial Professionals (CEFPRO) event, an event centered around technological innovations in AI, ML and blockchain visited by leading banks. We spoke about the development of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and how Dusk is building towards a regulatory compliant blockchain at the protocol level.



Barcelona: The World Ethical Data Forum is the most anticipated event for security and privacy-oriented audiences. During this event our CTO Emanuele Francioni spoke about how our novel technology will solve the antithesis between privacy and transparency once and for all.



Kiev: We presented at the countries largest blockchain event: Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kyiv. We spoke about the advancements made in Blockchain technology and how compliance is vital for adoption in the real world.

Data is going to be one of the biggest resources in the future. Right now data is the fastest growing one at least. The market for (big) data is huge.

Not sure what you're talking about. Why do you think only a few people will buy our token? Everyone has the ability to call the contract and get their tokens, however the amount of tokens depend on the time.

I don't familiar with private sale, so I will wait till the DUSK listed on exchanges to buy it.
Of course, I will only buy it if the project discloses something interesting days/ weeks after its start and traded on exchanges with high daily volume.

so, how market will be conducted if there are only few poeple buy your token?
token price will be highest than expected and price will be playable by investor

1 - Unidirectional atomic transfer of value (basically, payments)
-For example; you want to buy something or want to transfer value to an exchange.

2 - Bidirectional atomic exchange of value (transfer of asset ownership - securities fall in this category)
-For example; right now, we are helping out a real estate fund in Malta to tokenize their security and organize an STO

3 - Time unbound exchange of value (transmission of data stream - such as audiovisual conferencing, content streaming, etc)
-For example; you want to watch some content streams without being able to be tracker or have a call in a similar manner.

Yes, we definitely se those entities use the platform. Right now the demand for STO's is increasing very rapidly due to regulations closing in.

Is there already some idea about which kind of company or entities this platform will be suitable for. Do you already have some real use cases to prove an existing process can be improved with your product?

For example banks, insurance or companies which are dealing with sensible information, would you see them as potential "customers"?

When tokens sale starts? Or date still not announced yet? And where I can see token allocation and token distribution details?

I rather see them developing their platform the right way and not rush things like most of the projects do and then end up abandoning it when they are crushed by deadlines. Most of us are here for the long run anyways.
