Every coin is dead except BTC.
300+ crypto-currencies and other than trade up for BTC on some obscure "exchange" there's nothing else you can do with them.
However...
EBT has an active dev team, EBT has an infrastructure slowly being built so that you can actually use the coin (buy and sell real goods for it) and it's a well built coin. As long as that keeps up, it will be profitable long term.
It took BTC 3 years before it became worth anything, don't expect EBT to make you a millionaire in 3 months without constant development, promotions and a solid infrastructure where people can easily use the coin to buy and sell stuff.

So what is everybody's general feeling about EBT? As we've seen with Mintcoin, Blackcoin and this one, they can quickly rise, but easily fall back again. SOme people in trollboxes say the coin is dead, but I still believe it has a lot of potential:
What do you think?

- Same price as MINT, but only 1% of the amount of that coin

- Often sees large rises in value

Not sure about this site, haven't really used it yet, but http://c-cex.com You can trade one coin for another, not just an alt-coin for BTC.
Might be a way to generate more interest in EBT.
Hoping to get EBT supported at the altoutlet.com and this is looking promising:
Don't forget to vote for EBT on the exchanges keep sharing the videos the EBT devs made! I've started asking every hooker I see if she accepts EBT. Most say yeah, but they don't think I'm talking about EBT Coin...still it's spreading the word right?

How can you sell for EBT? I could only select BTC.
I think they're still in development and not ready to launch yet. I just got a tweet from one of the devs at HiBC from #BTCFleaMarket in case anyone wants updates on when you'll be able to sell and buy stuff using EBT coins.

I believe that the best thing for the price is multipool... as BlackCoin did it. It's harsh decision and I personally can't create it, but the cryptoworld is also harsh and more than 90% of miners are looking only for fiat. One multipool can increase the price of EBT significantly.

OS X Wallet has been updated for heartbleed fix.
We were mistaken when we said previously that the OS X wallet was hardened. Although the heartbleed vulnerability should not affect the vast majority of users, it is best to exercise caution and update to a wallet with the fix. The OP has been updated, but below are links for your convenience.
Although you should update in any event, please note that heartbleed will only be relevant if you are using the "rpcssl" option when you start the wallet.

Thanks for the update, dev...... Will you please add an option to toggle lock/unlock wallet without entering that code all the time....? That would be really helpful... place all the staking options in a tab called "Staking', so it'll be easier for the newbies and a short info about what's staking and how it'll work...etc in the wallet itself will be good.
Thank you for your suggestions. These types of improvements are high-priority, especially with respect to making staking easier on the user and easier to understand. A separate tab may be just the gui element that we are looking for.
