For those of you who haven't been following the MtGox news (shut down last night), I figured I'd share what I just posted on another forum:
You all might be interested in this document which surfaced last night. It appears to be an internal duscussion at MtGox titled "Crisis Strategy Draft", though I don't believe the authenticity has been verified yet.

Its worth noting that within the past 2 days GOX.com was purchased for $10,000 by the owners of MtGox, according to whois.
What does this mean for you? If the document is to be believed, it means that the exchange will reopen with new branding in a month. That means gox coins should eventually be valuable again if you can hold out. And if you believe this, then you should get your ass over to www.bitcoinbuilder.com right now because you can exchange real btc for mtgox btc at the rate of 0.15 to 1. I bought 4 gox coins at a rate of .08 last night.
It is also worth noting that MtGox has the right to nullify any of these bitcoinbuilder coins if they choose. I have no idea if they actually would or why they would, but there is risk there. I'm hoping to convert my gox coins back to real coins at a nice profit long before they reopen.

best exchange to buy large volume EBT?
Right now Openex and Pmtocoins are the only exchanges carrying EBT. Lazycoins is supposed to have support when it opens.
Your best bet for volume may be this board. We welcomed a couple of mining whales last week. They may be capable of providing what you are looking for.

that's what im using currently because dsync doesn't work. also i see that they are stuck on a block? not sure why.

its really bad now, my windows azure trial it over. so I was getting almost 30 to 40 kh. with my other computers processor added to it. now its back down to around 6kh. When I sleep I turn on my main computer and add another 10 kh. So far this coin is the hardest now to mine for the low ender. its cool though. I got almost 8,000 coins. not bad for just playing around.

I have noticed something interesting. I'm mining at a super slow speed. EBT is hard to mine for the low kh. The blocks are being found so fast that my miners can't submit shares fast enough. that is why its taking forever for me to earn ebt. lol! I bet when the diffaculty goes up and it takes longer my slow kh will be able to submit more. we need to get it harder to mine. Freaking awesome coin, I'm learning a lot doing this.
Freaking awesome coin, I'm learning a lot doing this. Don't feel bad, I'm only at 30khash on a spare laptop since my pc crashed mining other coins. I used to get around 1000 EBT a day, then 600, now since this weekend I'm only bringing in around 300 and that's mining non-stop.
Happy I got in from pretty much day one, but as you said, it's a great way to learn.

Also, I totally agree on the PR part. I was responsible for starting the "Even Bitches Take it" memes. Though they were not to be taken seriously. I was just trying to breathe some life into the forum.
