Estimate came from blocksolved.com. It was saying 47/day 'ish at my ~1400 kh/s speed. Difficulty was the same over the whole mining period, and rejects were about 5%. I did not notice any orphans occurring but it is possible. Because it was a new pool to me I recorded coins earned a while to make sure I was getting paid properly, as follows:
5:30pm approximate start time, give or take.
6:10pm earnings of .515 with .915 unconfirmed
8:21pm earnings of 2.298 with .7419 unconfirmed
10:10pm earnings of 3.866 with .514 unconfirmed
10:31pm earnings of 4.094 with .623 unconfirmed
11:24pm earnings of 4.765 with .4372 unconfirmed
11:33pm earnings of 4.8202 with .4162 unconfirmed
stopped mining. a while later my final balance with nothing unconfirmed was only 5.273

I just noticed your post about estimated and real payouts on ELC pool and started investigating what happened here.
The underlying of the problem was that when we started
elc.blocksolved.com we specified block reward for estimated ELC/day calculation as 1.71 based on the value at that specific point in time. The corresponding difficulty for that block reward was 2.89.
However,

Less demand? Less hashpower, less block reward, less supply. Same value.
High demand? More hashpower, more block reward, more supply. Same value.
after some time i.e. on 11th of December difficulty dropped to 1.02 and corresponding block reward dropped to 0.85. As block reward is something that is manually specified in pool config, it remained 1.71 resulting in pool estimates going off i.e. showing you 2 times more than your workers would actually mine.
This is the reason why your payouts were roughly 2 times lower than calculated by the pool and we apologize for misleading estimates that we provided due to fluctuated block reward nature of the coin.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Since then block reward went up to 2.52, so our estimates were showing 50% lower than expected. We adjusted it accordingly now and will keep an eye on it while working on automatic block reward retarget tool.
