edit 1, whats the aprox height of your blockchain

I'm still running a node on my pool prohashing.com with the original blockchain.  I can't guarantee great download speed from the pool server's connection, but its Elacoin daemon does have 8 connections so hopefully one of those 8 can assist in seeding.

i asked cryptsy on twitter and got no answer but they may get a lot of tweets .....

i tried a qt to connect but zero connections,

when i have time i will try compiling my own node at a static ip address and see if that connects and can get the blockchain

if anyone has addnodes to the original network please let us know

from reading the 'new' thread it looks like someone forked the coin and cryptsy did not take the fork and is on the old chain.

can anyone confirm they can move coins on/off cryptsy ?

if so any working nodes would be appreciated

if cryptsy is on the old chain that is the correct chain to me since it matches the original specs of the coin.

The main things that are changed are the Scrypt functions to support Scrypt Adaptive-N, added KGW, new alert key and related functions, and increased the version number and reject old clients starting on the hardfork date. The Qt changes are so it supports Qt version 5 and not just the older Qt 4.

Now we rewrite ELC wallet, so, what community want - we continue old thread or start new?

im kinda around - i see a git merge request but im confused why so many files in the src tree have changed including a ton of stuff in the qt gui...

We are the RevivalCoinGroup, our team now propose to take Elacoin to our management.

Elacoin is interest coin with original specs, are interesting to investors and traders more then 1 year, but now ELC have too much problems.
We detect next coin issues - dev abandoned project and don't visit to this thread, flow difficulty, in result miners lost coin, for example last block was find two days ago - 26 July, low trade volume.

We offer following changes:

- change algo from Scrypt to Scrypt-N with KGW
- rewrite wallet with old specs and new algo
- create new userfriendly explorer
- create new pool with 1% donate
- connect with owners elacoin.cc and propose to add change in this site or registered new site
- vote to add ELC to another exchanges
- promotion in twitter and facebook
- other.

QuoVadis, the coin is definitely alive!

Price is somewhat stable, diffuclty and hashrate high.
We are estimating some minor changes in algo (see math5 posts above).
Also we've got support programm and funds for the developers willing to contribute.

Generally the model of ELC with reward increasing with diffuculty proves to be successful as the coin is 1 year old and still attract supporters, price is fair, life goes on:)
