I suggest this coin takes a more cross platform approach instead of being one of Microsoft's coins.

Syncing is horribly slow. Looks like we're lacking nodes for this coin.

Trying to solo mine with cuda i keep getting json_rpc_call failed, HTTP request failed:operation timed out after 30014 miliseconds with 0 out of -1bytes recieved

Have it set as "cudaminer.exe -o localhost:12128 -u Tansen -p 1"

and conf is

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=Tansen
rpcpassword=1
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcport=12128
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=198.199.90.252
addnode=24.6.21.198
addnode=108.27.249.69

Actually now that I tested it with cg it doesnt work with that either. What gives is it pool or nothing?

The pool has moved. The new address is

www.coin-base.org/emerald/

All your data and coins were transferred.
You must only change net to org.

There are now three different Stratumports with different difficulties.
Port 3443 for slow Miner - Pool_target 16
Port 4443 for normal Miner - Pool_target 32 (one share is two Poolshares)
Port 5443 for fast Miner - Pool_target 64 (one share is four Poolshares)

Thank you! What is slow, normal and fast? Guess i'm slow with my I5 and I7 CPU's & mobile GPU....  Wink

Any Emerald enthusiasts in Australia?

I will buy a few hundred dollars worth by internet bank transfer. We can do a couple of small trades to establish trust.

The pool is back up.  Unfortunately I had to roll back ~6000 emd worth of blocks (one user made up ~2700 of this total), and even after this the pool is still running a negative balance.  I'll be buying up some emd to at least get us back on some even footing.  If you see a negative balance on your account this is why.

You can reach stratum using 146.185.169.205 instead of mine-emd.scryptmining.com  or just wait for dns to propagate.

so is the pool working now? sould i use the stratum+tcp://mine-emd.scryptmining.com:3889 or stratum+tcp://146.185.169.205:3889

What happened to all the pre-mined coins?

Are they used to help cover such problems at all?

Or for anything other than just a pump and dump by the developer?

(I haven't noticed anything about where they all went, if that is even known at all?)
