I was never able to figure out if I could pool or if there was any advantage to that vs state mining as I was point out to you. Let's see if we can get some discussion around this.

What command line do you use?

i use this command sgminer.exe --kernel hmq1725 -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://esppool.sytes.net:3334 -u test -p test

Sometimes it is a little bit tricky to connect to the pool.
One of my machines connects without any problems.

Another one (same location/config) needs up to ten times to get a connection.

Can you try it on another computer?
