CC released a commit that added checkpoints, but staking and mining can still lead to forking.
I didn't fully understand the cause of this, even though he mentioned it at some point.
He's currently working to implement a "full" fix.
Conclusion is: Wait for the fix, then you need to resync or get the bootstrap files if you have opened your wallet after Nov 1st.

Almost all blocks are rejected by the network. Devs said that they fix it and now is testing. So we must wait for new wallet version i think.

Where do all these branches come from? It sounds weird to me that a chain that has been existing as long as Espers would have that many branches..

To all of you who are still wondering what is going on, you should really check into Discord... most things are explained there, and CC also logged in yesterday and explained the problem and his plan to solve it.
