The price of the ETC is quite stable recently. If there is no big bad news, the price will not drop too low.

I am beginning to accumulate some ETC and I am planning to put them in cold storage. Is it the same process as Bitcoin? In Bitcoin I go to bitaddress.org and generate a wallet while I am offline. Can I do the same process using classicetherwallet.com?

BTC never got called this and they did the same as ETC, they let the hackers get away with the money every time big exchanges got hacked and mt.gox was huge back in 2014.
