if the dao hacker dumps his coins now, he will get least profit as price is too low. He can dump it in future where ETC will be traded as large volume and with good price, no ?
No one knows on when they're going to dump those hacked coins but surely it will happen anytime they want to.
It may surprise you but I am a member of the UK Labour Party. UK government are about to make a big push into crypto. I watched some of your video iCEBREAKER. It highlights to me how sick politics has become. Again, very much like the Classic / Foundation split.
The issue Jeremy has is that his politicians, still want power over people.
The "Labour Party" is made up from "Party Members" like myself (there are 630,000 of us)
and "The Parliamentary Party" only 230 of them.
The "Parliamentary Labour Party" don't want Jeremy
"Party Members" like myself do and we are the mass majority.
The "Parliamentary Labour Party" want power over people.
"Party Members" want to govern at a grass roots level and where we can use tech to govern.
We want the vote on an individual level across the country on mass over all political issues.
This means the 230 "Parliamentary Labour Party Members" (the politicians) get fired and lose their jobs and their power.
You see this tech has the ability to support an autonomous governance model. "Leaderless"
This is why ETC is priceless and "they" (the ruling classes) want to crush us and this technology.
They want it for themselves to have power over us.
I spoke to Charles Hoskinson on slack and asked him if he would go on RT's Max Keiser show.
His reply was (and I'm paraphrasing here) "I am not your spokesman or leader, I am a supporter"
On a personal level I, am an "Anarcho-syndicalist"

In Ethereum Classic the syndicate are the users of the platform.
In politics the syndicate are the people.

Things like "UK Labour" and "Ethereum Classic" are tools to try achieve that.

Hello!!!! Prompt complexity of mining Ethereum Classic remained like Ethereum? In this case it remains about 6500000 main + stolen by a hacker = all about ~ 10 million coins ETC.

it was listed first at around 50 cents jumped in hours to over 2 dollar. which is amazing for a coin that was supost to die fast.
its alive and can hold above 1 dollar.
while behind the screen people work to establish the basis. wallets , explorer, webpage and so on . even organizing meetups.
o and removing the diff bomb
and the replay attack.
if one bought it at the high of over 2 dollar its best to hold them till the storm is over.
and etc is listed at exchanges.
a coin that is that far established will not die or disapear. coins with much less potential stood alive.
and the longer etc is alive the better the price will do.
etc haters run out of bullets soon.

@roselee. It is still a very tough situation to be in. We as holders and supporters are against all odds that ETC will survive in the 1st year. The price is falling and there is a threat of the attacker dumping his coins. That will have an effect on the investors' confidence and it will make them avoid buying ETC. Also the falling hash power is another reason to be worried.
I agree with you. ETC is showing every bad signs. If price goes down to hell, no one will further invest into this coin. miners will leave. Suddenly ETC will turn into a orphan project. Community and ETC supporters should take necessary steps to overcome this crisis.

Please do not do that. It will only make people hope for nothing. They way the price is going there are many ETC holders that want to get out and maybe the miners are not willing to hold the coin. Maybe the miners see ETC as a way to make them save their ETH from being traded to BTC by selling all ETC and part of their ETH to maintain their mining rigs and pay electricity bills.

hietc is on a good way . you worrie about the hacker and dumping. well yes its a risk and we will see what happens after 2th of september. if you are a holder you wont worrie that much.
but fear is not a good advicer.
id say if there is a dump the price falls but it will then rise.
at the moment i guess the price is low becouse every one knows of the date 2th of september.

Only wishful thinking by some who just love to hate... ETC is alive and well. Lots of momentum, lots of good things happening. Hang out on the slack chat and talk to people, ask the movers, shakers, developers their thoughts and get excited. ETC is a baby, and is just beginning.
If your looking for a short term trade and a quick buck, ETC is probably not going to be a good fit. We are in the building stages and many of the key pieces are being put in place to pave the way for the future many of us believe in for Ethereum before the powers that be decided they could play god with the blockchain.
So pop in to the slack conversation and get to know people. You will start to see there is a lot going on and a lot to be excited about. Despite all the doom and gloom you will hear by those who wish ETC harm.
