I've heard about new contract of Ethbits from the tweets today, and this is a new thing for me. Will I loose some of Ethbits balance after doing what the Ethbits blog says ?
What is the time limit to upgrade our ethbits token?I mean before what date should we upgrade it and what will happen if we failed to upgrade before that deadline?will our old ethbits become useless?
I think so because you need to upgrade it already they provide screenshots on the blog. Right now they are in Audit process they found they some coding problem so they suggested upgrading to a different contract. So that you will not miss the dividends.
Tip: If you are using MEW, export ABI contract in Raw/Text Format.

Total supply of this token seem to be decreasing, it use to be 1.6 Million and now its just 1,126,721 ETB. The upgrade must have been the cause of this.

Cryptopia halted trading of Ethbits while the upgrade was completed.They are then doing the upgrade bit for you so that the token balances will move across to the new Ethbits contract.Does it mean our ethbits balance on cryptopia gets upgraded automatically?Or do we need to move them to MEW to upgrade?

The team at Cryptopia were really helpful, given the way their accounts are managed, they decided it was best to halt trading of Ethbits while the upgrade was completed. I think trading at Cryptopia is shut down at the moment due to the ETB-upgrade. I'm not sure about it though

Just completed a transaction with 1 GWEI gas price. Actual transaction cost is less than 1 Cents USD. But it took 21 minute to confirmation. Most of the time I don't care about transaction confirmation time.
Also a quick tip. When using MEW, use the slider at the bottom of the page reduce gas price to save ETH. Its is set to 21 as standart but it can go a lot lower without issues.

upgrading requires gas too. i'm not sure whether i have read the exact reason why they upgrade have they mentioned it? or was this just to check whether those tokens wasn't move to anywhere since the released were still alive and that owners still has access?
