Hi there guys, i have one simple question about eth 2.0, what is need when the time comes to migrate mine eth to the 2.0 version, currently i hold them in MEW, do i need to move them somewhere else or ?
Nothing, the network will adopt automatically once it's ready. Unless you want to stake, it's another story.

Still, a lot of details to be released from the team, nobody doesn't know when they will release the details, but along with the release they will announce all the details where we have to hold the coin in order to get the staking rewards in terms of ETH.

Still no clear announcement from the team itself whether the ETH have to be saved somewhere else outside myetherwallet to be able to participate in the staking? For me though I would rather that they will allow interested ETH holders to store their ETH for staking in their myetherwallet. That is a native wallet for Ethereum anyway. We will have to wait for their final announcement on this.

It'll depend; if the POS system will require an active computer to stake then myetherwallet alone wouldn't work, you'd have to use Ethereum's official application.

In any case, as long as you are holding the private keys, you don't have to worry about it now. You'll just load your current wallet wherever it's required using your keys.

lol saying anything ETH is better than any other coin or any other ETH use-case product is funny as hell.

when anything? lol
I did not remember seeing anyone say anything, I mean we do not say anything.
so when we say anything?  Roll Eyes

WHEN ANYTHING PRICE ANYTHING LIKE $1200 PER ETH ANYTIME AGAIN??!!

Never, that price was achieved by a combination of pump schemes, a lot of hype, and many issues with the exchanges which were down for long times.
There are also a lot of coins which have been mined now and entered the market... that's called inflation.

I think they will announce this close the launch date if there will be needed some actions. But I think MEW will support hardfork as this is main ethereum wallet

A question regarding unencrypted and encrypted private keys. Hope someone could help.

Time ago I created an account on MyEtherWallet. I saved the encrypted private key. Today I tried to access my wallet without success. It says the format of the private key is incorrect.
My encrypted private key has 132 characters.

I have other accounts created on MyEtherWallet where I saved the private keys too, but they all have only 64 characters and they work to access the respective wallet.

So is there any way to access MEW with an encrypted  private key or is there a save way to transform the 132 chars encrypted pk into 64 chars (unencrypted?) pk?

Update: Forgot to mention that I have a password with the encrypted pk. However MEW does not enter me both :/
The latest version of MyEtherWallet does not support it anymore, your case similar to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/MyEtherWallet/comments/drx9f8/encrypted_private_key_and_mew5/

You can use this to get access to your fund and then move it to a new address: https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet/

That is what everyone is asking because whether they will support the MEW for staking the ETH coin or not, so finally they are not allowing the MEW for stacking, so might be we should a latest version of the ETH wallet for getting the staking reward.

You do not need to do anything when the upgrade comes, as long as you have a private key everything will be fine. Remember, do not send or give your private key to anyone else except yourself. No matter what happens with the blockchain, you still can claim it with the private key.
and it seems like the Beacon chain will be released in early or Q1 2020 because there is a hardfork happening in December 2019.

In this December hardfork, besides the proposed improvements, will not be created another chain similar to the ETC?
As per the explanations from some articles and there will be possibility the new fork coin will be rolling out in the future but it looks like ethereum will not be creating another chain similar to the ETC. ETC is there caused by the hardfork of DAO. In the last few hardfork of ethereum didn't give a split chain and the developer of ethereum is aiming for that thing to happen again.

Cool, I hope the developer will strive to maintain only this chain even after hardfork. Thanks for help

Price has started to moving. Time to get back to 0.025

For the analysis of MACD 4H and 1D pointing towards the bullish, but for 1W I have not looked further for the price you mentioned.

I hope by the end of current month this could happen as like it is moving with ongoing momentum. From long time  ETH is not showing the big rally that is why it will happen soon.

Hopefully the stability for 1W can continue in order to maintain the existing bullish trend from a few months ago to determine the next price position.
