Meh, life is hard. I think lots of places bullshit their liquidity and volume.  I'd rather just create a fair arena for trading and honest vs have a flood of people we tricked into using our shit.

If our site is good... it will naturally grow IMO.
Basically, you are right. If ones is good, people will use it and it will naturally gradual grow. In contrast, huge competitions from other exchanges always play as barriers for growths of new exchanges (if less or without promotions run).

FreeBitcoins.com now offers a no KYC Xchange (exchange) market for BTC_ETH.

https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/market/BTC_DGB
You put a wrong link to DGB, not ETH.

It is a good start to build up the exchange but I think it is difficult to compete with the other older exchanges that have better volume/ liquidity than yours. If you can solve the volume/liquidity issues, people will join more.

Fuck, good catch.

No, this HF has nothing to do with the POS. There is no certain date for ETH 2.0, just rumors that it will start in Jan 2020. It is not clear whether a full POS will be introduced, or mixed POS/POW at first for better security. Full POS may happen still in Q1 2020 if there are no bugs.

An update of this huge caliber should be announced more than 2 months earlier, so I'm sure it won't happen on January... it's too soon and there's no official announcement.

Now that I think about it, I've been hearing about Ethereum's POS for about 2 years now!
We are going parallel, PoS and PoW at the same time.
There is no exact date for the launch of the Beacon chain until now. Last time it was scheduled this year but it was delayed,
But I am sure it will not later than 2020.
Just keep watching this blog to get the latest information about ETH 2.0: https://blog.ethereum.org/
there should be excat time for the launch. already market condition is not good at this time and its going low. and according to my point of views market will go more down for now and don't know where will be the bottom eth could touch 100$ again in this year.
The market situation is not important here because ETH community is kept for ETH 2.0 from many days if they still drag this means defining the price of ETH coin will easy touch 100$ mark again with this market fluctuation. So it is very good to release specific dates when they are releasing the ETH 2.0.

It's a really important thing, as you can see there was a whale who has already started to send his ethereum to the exchange site. The price means trust from the buyers and holders. ETA has already published and the next hardfork will have done in the next month. The market is only following where bitcoin is going on.
How deep the bottom price of ethereum will be decided by bitcoin consider bitcoin is the only coin that was affecting the whole price of the cryptocurrency.

Ethereum is again in downtrend after sitting above $180 level more than month so many people waiting for upward breakthrough but BTC crash ruin this so quickly. I hope next upcoming Istanbul hard fork could bring up more attention and help to create a FOMO and we can see a short term rally so let's see what happen next.

the market was bleeding when the downtrend yesterday, there was a lot of panic that pushed ETH to fall deeper than usual, touching a low price of around $ 138, right now we are only pushing $ 10 at just $ 148, so I hope the price doesn't really go below $ 100, I guess that will hurt many people who hold ETH for a long time, waiting for release or something new coming soon from ETH to get more traders or investors

I'm sorry but I wouldn't expect much of a bullrun after an Ethereum update.
Unfortunately the price is dictated by a few people, which I'm sure most have not realized since they cling into the "decentralization" dream, and the price will only spike when those few people have thrown every random guy who bought the top out of the market.

When is the hardfork planned? I think it would be a good time before BTC hardfork. As we could see ETH and alts grow if they would have made this in few month before BTC hardfork and than will be BTC growing...  Huh
7 December 2019.
You can read this: https://blog.ethereum.org/2019/11/20/ethereum-istanbul-upgrade-announcement/
or this: https://cointelegraph.com/news/istanbul-to-berlin-ethereum-milestones-on-the-road-to-serenity

So does this mean that on December 7th Ethereum is going to move to POS? May be this big dump before upcoming huge pump after hardfork   Huh
Hope to see good altseson again  Roll Eyes

Hi there guys, i have one simple question about eth 2.0, what is need when the time comes to migrate mine eth to the 2.0 version, currently i hold them in MEW, do i need to move them somewhere else or ?
You do not need to do anything when the upgrade comes, as long as you have a private key everything will be fine. Remember, do not send or give your private key to anyone else except yourself. No matter what happens with the blockchain, you still can claim it with the private key.
and it seems like the Beacon chain will be released in early or Q1 2020 because there is a hardfork happening in December 2019.

In this December hardfork, besides the proposed improvements, will not be created another chain similar to the ETC?
As per the explanations from some articles and there will be possibility the new fork coin will be rolling out in the future but it looks like ethereum will not be creating another chain similar to the ETC. ETC is there caused by the hardfork of DAO. In the last few hardfork of ethereum didn't give a split chain and the developer of ethereum is aiming for that thing to happen again.

Cool, I hope the developer will strive to maintain only this chain even after hardfork. Thanks for help

As long as the majority of nodes will upgrade their client ASAP and the split chain will never happen. That must be the main problem. More nodes mean more support. I hope so and have a good day.

Nothing, the network will adopt automatically once it's ready. Unless you want to stake, it's another story.

Still, a lot of details to be released from the team, nobody doesn't know when they will release the details, but along with the release they will announce all the details where we have to hold the coin in order to get the staking rewards in terms of ETH.

Still no clear announcement from the team itself whether the ETH have to be saved somewhere else outside myetherwallet to be able to participate in the staking? For me though I would rather that they will allow interested ETH holders to store their ETH for staking in their myetherwallet. That is a native wallet for Ethereum anyway. We will have to wait for their final announcement on this.

It'll depend; if the POS system will require an active computer to stake then myetherwallet alone wouldn't work, you'd have to use Ethereum's official application.

In any case, as long as you are holding the private keys, you don't have to worry about it now. You'll just load your current wallet wherever it's required using your keys.
