That is the psychology of the market the big whales knows better how to move this market and make panic the people to make big profit by practicing this strategy. Even this is fishy thing but I would like to do agree with you that's happening in front of our eyes as like ETH is moving to low level.
And the sad news is people still fall for this heavy manipulation by the whales, and the most sad of the whole scenario is what we are experiencing now, alts can't break away from btc clutches, now btc will dump, alts will dump even further, btc moons and alts keep dumping, it's like a vicious circle, alts are caught in the middle, and the weak hands are not helping matters, they sell at any slightest dip, investors are afraid to put in money, the market has change from 2017, it is hard to predict it.
ETH like all other crypto suffered badly in the recent savage selling/decline that hit the market this past day or so.

That cannot be denied, but we should be alright, there is nothing to worry as we've been in this situation many times in the past, and we've witness also how ETH recover after the struggle, right now, it's just a matter of patience and the right timing to sell when the altcoins season comes.

The information about ethereum 2.0 that already mentioned in the article can't be trusted 100%. the fact that POS migration will be dividing into the a lot of update. that needs some years later. I have heard that someone said that if the ethereum team is explaining if the migration will come at least 2 - 3 years from now for the complete upgrade or re-design of ethereum blockchain.
It doesn't mean POS will come next year. it may come 2021 or 2022
How many coins would one need to PoS?
Did mean about how many ETH need for POS ? 32 ETH required to get rewarded a block validator for this upcoming upgrade. I hope given article link would help you a lot to understand about this structure.

Wait for further announcements. It might change or it could be the final date. We're all just waiting for the final date and it could be earlier or longer so you have to be patient with this update. We all want it to become smooth, all of us wanting it to see the surge in price and get your ETHs finally on its stake.

The information about ethereum 2.0 that already mentioned in the article can't be trusted 100%. the fact that POS migration will be dividing into the a lot of update. that needs some years later. I have heard that someone said that if the ethereum team is explaining if the migration will come at least 2 - 3 years from now for the complete upgrade or re-design of ethereum blockchain.

2.8PHMonero forked, my take is that many AMD Vegas have been joining ETH network since then.
I am also aware of that, many of my friends are discussing this and they say the same thing.
this time the difficulty of ethereum is going back again.

Some roadmaps got delayed and it will be launched next year.

It seems that the block times didn't go back down to the average ~13.5 sec times and instead they are growing every 3 weeks and currently the block times are almost at 17 seconds. Most likely the next hard-fork can be delayed again and it will eventually reach the ~30 second block times like it did back in late 2017.
Currently anyone with power at 0.10 kwh is basically mining at break-even, I predict that the hashrate will keep dropping even further.
