Is there any proposal or roadmap how can current ETH blockchain be used by real enterprises? Just curious...

So let me be a CEO of a small organization in telecommunication (a local internet provider, for example). How can I use ethereum blockchain to improve my business?

You're asking for the use cases of blockchain here, which you can find easily with a google search. Why Ethereum for those use cases though? Ethereum happens to be the blockchain of choice to enable those use cases, because of many factors (the unique tech, the incredible talent of eth developers, planned development and features, etc.).

Take the work Microsoft is doing: integration into Azure, so that any developer can quickly and easily spin up a blockchain "template" (based on Ethereum's protocol of course), work on it, test it, and deploy it, all within an industry-wide recognized environment.

More details to your question: http://spectrum.ieee.org/tech-talk/computing/networks/enterprise-ethereum-alliance-launches

"Google it" is not a real answer to my question. Ok, Azure provides a way to deploy a smart contract, but how a real enterprise can use these smart contracts? I haven't found any real use cases for that on Google!

Very first hit with "use cases of blockchain": https://letstalkpayments.com/blockchain-use-cases-comprehensive-analysis-startups-invoved/ Lots of good stuff there as a primer. Specifics on Smart Contracts?  I suggest you head over to the Ethereum forums and ask in there.  You're much more likely to get a good answer than in this thread.  Smiley

And, I think it's worth it to note: the exact how is exactly what the EEA will be helping with.  "Enterprise" covers a whole shit ton of the pie, but there are specific needs for certain industries vs others. "How" is very difficult question, with lots of different answers.

Edit: Shit, my bad.  That's the first hit with bing, not google  Cheesy Cheesy

Vitalik Buterin has been working on Proof-of-Stake for some time now. Proof-of-Stake is a complex puzzle of integral components; each needing to be specially crafted and honed to fit perfectly into the system. In the switch from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake, the network will achieve consensus through validators instead of miners. These validators will stake a portion of their Ether as a deposit. Once a staker is accepted as a validator, their locked-up Ether effectively becomes a virtual miner. According to Buterin, in PoS, there is a pool of validators “which anyone is free to join, with some delay, by submitting a deposit, and which any participant can leave and then, after some much higher delay, withdraw their funds.”

It's so complex... Why doesn't he take a working concept from any of cryptocurrencies that already implemented it?

^The never ending good news making Ethereum so great in the world of crypto.  Smiley

ETHF is a crypto ponzi scheme with unlimited supply. Miners will run away as soon as it changes to pos. That will be the end of "never ending" hype.

I'm afraid when it switches to PoS it will hype even more to unseen heights, because people would want to buy ethereum enough to run a master node and earn interest. And there will be no miners who would sell ethereum to pay for electricity.

I'm afraid people are fed up with that ponzi centralization. Ethereum Foundation Central Bank + Master Nodes Commercial Banks...  Only the banking oligopoly that is currently pumping this scam coin thinks it's cool. Déjà vu. Dump time!

However, that's only a theory, because one more hard fork would split the currency once again if there is no consensus and nobody knows what happens.

Why not? I see it as the only way to implement ethereum for enterprises. Otherwise it is not secure at all and open to spamming, hacking, stealing private data and other vulnerabilities. Enterprise Ethereum as an organization will employ Vitalik and other developers and sell private and secure enterprise ethereum solutions - that's how I see it.

Obviously, you don't know what you're talking about. If you want spamming, hacking, stealing private data and other vulnerabilities is exactly the "enterprise" way to go!

Ethereum soars with new developments and epic, widespread attention. Meanwhile, ETC community is bickering with itself! Yes, there is such a roadmap for the Ethereum Foundation Central Bank coin:
1. Pump and dump.
2. Pump and dump.
3. Pump and dump.
...
Rinse and repeat.

As opposed to ETC, which is just dump dump dump Cheesy Market shows everything mate!
